Depends on what options you pick. Base price (with no options) is $799. Carvin let's you choose from a ton of options.
Good!! That will work out nicely for the 5er. I have been waiting forever for Carvin to come out with something a little better looking. They've got the perfect sound already (in my opinion), but the looks never thrilled me. \
Yes, the Icons are great looking, but the new SB4000 is the vintage vibe that I needed before ordering my next Carvin.

Wonder if block inlays can be ordered on these. Have not seen a pic, but from what I saw in my catalog that was mailed to me, it looks like it could be an option. That would look cool (IMHO)!

I want to hear some reviews before I get too happy. I love the looks, though. I guess I'm just a retro kind of guy. The one with the ash body and cream pickups is HOT!

I really like it, lovely bass, piles of options. GASin' hard.

I kinda dig it, and I'm curious how those new pickups with Alnico V magnets sound.
Looks pretty darn cool, IMO. From a practical perspective, does this differ in construction from the B4, aside from the body and headstock styling?
I myself just bought a new Icon 5'er flame maple top w/ebony board, but a 5 in this is very tempting and I'm liking the design more and more as I see it. Can't wait to hear some reviews.
wondering when somebody was going to bring this up....Apparently he was a well known Fender Jazz player, but Fender wouldn't give him a sig model and Carvin would, the neck is supposed to be fairly close to Fenders' Jazz neck...

Anyone else here order one besides me? They are already working on it. I just ordered it last Thursday (July 2nd) and they e-mailed today trying to clarify something on my order concerning the color I wanted on the headstock. Needed to know ASAP as they have started to build already. I'm supposed to receive a postcard with an estimate as to the finish date. Glad to know it is already in the works. By the way, they are only asking for 20% down (same with all custom orders) with the balance becoming due right before it is ready to be shipped.
