There's not many pedals which use op-amp clipping. But there's a few fuzzes and OD's which use transistor clipping. The Fairfield Barbershop OD uses trani clipping as does the Wooly Mammoth Fuzz. Interestingly, but are renown for their distinct character.

So I got mine! Had some time with it. And for the time being, the BB and the MXR stay. I had to move some things around but I'm super happy right now.

This pedal is mean. And awesome. And LOUD! I'm really diggin. I can't wait to get it in a jam set.

This thing is pretty cool with the way the blend, gain and wet interact together. Dime'in the wet and just bringing in a bit of gain a little at a time really brought on some cool results. It's fun

Hey, so anyone wanna share their settings by chance?? @JimmyM? Here's mine right now. I'm still dialing it in though. I'm also still deciding whether or not I like the LED on or off. And the level of the internal trim. This pedal has quite a bit of sounds in it.

Well if you think it'll do any good...got the LED trimpot down all the way, and my usual setting is dry 11:30, wet 1:00, tone noon, drive almost 9:00, and I switch between LED and silicon but mostly stick to LED.

I believe he turns on LED mode. That's my favorite tone of the demo, too.

So, is anyone else having trouble in the mix with this guy?? I am. So far. Ive only had it to two practices though. Ive tried both modes and it seems to get a tad muddy. I think Im running my internal trim too hot. Ill have to try and lower that and see how it goes.

Just wondering how some of you have been with it in the mix now that youve had it for a while. I know Jimmy has had some pretty good success. Anyone else??

Great in the mix for me, I typically have dry level at noon and wet level 1030, Dist 9. LED mode, trimpot I have moved around a bit. I think I like it all the way up (gets another gig test tomorrow). Runs through a clean-ish B7K.

Yeah I have the same thing going on for the most part. I will say this, the pedal straight thumps! At higher volumes I can see my woofers moving and feel air moving. Its nuts. Ill first try to bump the LED trim down.

I'd suggest: blend to taste, distorted volume to unity or slightly above unity, tone to the treble side, distortion to 10:30/11:00.

Also, can you tell me what happens when you go fully CCW on the blend?? Its like it cuts your clean out completely and then adds some bottom. Its kinda cool what it does, like you can tell its designed for bass.

No prob.
I like the trimpot on full and adjusting the volume via the wet and dry knobs. I like the way LEDs feel full on, personally. The volume jump is easily tamable via a quick volume adjustment. When using the trimpot, I feel like it loses a tiiiiiiiny bit of the oomph full on LEDs has, plus there's more volume on tap, which can be helpful. In a mix, no one would know whether the trim was dialed back or not.

When the dry is fully counterclockwise, it's "off" and not passing any clean/dry signal. I don't hear any bottom being added on my end. Perhaps the frequencies of the wet are more easily heard without the dry sapping those gnarly, nasty tones the wet side provides?

I dialed the trim pot on mine back just a little, but do like it better more on that not. I've been using the pedal to drive LPF sweeps with my expression pedal.

No problems with mud here, it absolutely KILLS in the mix for me. I'm up against two wide-open 100W half stacks and a LOUD drummer. I'm using an ATK205 and SVT2PRO into an SWR 610, low end, mids and treble are all present and accounted for with the pedal engaged.

I keep dry at 11:00-ish, wet at 1:00-ish, tone around 1:00-2:00 and drive around 10:00-10:30. That's in LED mode, with the trimpot backed down so that it's only a little bit louder than silicon mode.

One of these days I have to sit here and do a test with the trimpot cranked vs all the way down. Doesn't really seem any different to me for practical usage, but if it'll get a tiny bit of oomph added back in, I'll do it. But I think I would really miss being able to switch between silicon and LED.

So far I really like it. I also turned down the trimpot a bit, but I got the impression that the volume difference isn't as pronounced depending on how much clean you blend in. Is that possible? Maybe due to the interaction of clean and gain? However, now comes extensive testing.
