I have no quantitative figure, but when I switched from spiro light to perpetuals I did not feel any significant change in tension (resistance to longitudinal force). How compared the tension/stiffness of Perpetuals to Spiros light or Jazzers?
Concerning stiffness (resistance to bending they are very different: Spiro light are very stiff, whereas perpetuals are very simple. This is something that really striking when you manipulate them unmounted. Once they are mounted on the bass, you don't notice that much, because the strings under tension hardly deviate from a straight line.
