Ok, so after clean the body wings, all is ready to glue. Tomorrow I will glue the fingerboard, then Wednesday I will glue the body wings with the neck.

New spring arrived, and my allergies are starting again... well, the bad part just pass....

We continue with this instrument.
I was gluing the body wings:

Then, I taked of the rest of the neck, just arriving to the end of the fingerboard. This drum sander that i built just work awesome!

Then, I was taking off mostly the rest of the neck, all arround 1mm from the fingerboard:

And finally, I was gluing the ebony headstock top, making the slot to access to the trussrods.

Then, I taked of the rest of the neck, just arriving to the end of the fingerboard. This drum sander that i built just work awesome!

I take around 70% with a router first, and then I finish it with the drum sander, arriving to the same level of the body wings.

I have thought many times about building a drum like that for flattening the neck. This is looking great Oscar.

Ok, more work!

Today was one of these days that you can see a lot of difference. Now, the bass is starting to look like a bass!

I was starting with the joint neck-body. I'm making my new stile, with the inside curve going from horn to horn, so you can have easy access to the last frets.
I was using a chisel to take off a lot of wood:

Then, I was rounding the body with a file. I try to make a confortable and sexy body.
So, basically, today I was working with this basic tools:

I was starting to work in the neck shape, too

And finally, I was working with the headstock, shape and tuners holes
