More work:

I was making the electronics cavity. First, I like to make the jack hole, because if I do it when the electronic cavity is done, a little vibration in the drill bit can break or crack the body wing (I have this experience...)
To make the cavity, I use a template and a router.

So, I was working in the neck, too. Leveling top and sidesm ad finally, finishing it by hand to make a more "human" feeling.
Neck is 90% finish

Yes. I will install a Neutrik locking output. I will sand a little bit just the part that touch the plate of the jack

Both. Metallic and plastick. Personally, I prefer the plastic version, it is a little bit flexible.

Cool. Thanks. I got the wrong one, I think. The metal one is pretty rigid and won't bend. Oh well. I'll find some other project for the future for it. Now to find a plastic one..

You are welcome.
But plastic is only "a little bit" flexible, so sanding is a very realistic solution to install this jack in curved bodies

Hey Oscar, we need more progress pics

Hi Jauqo and friends.

Well, the bass was in 'bored" process: sanding, sanding, sanding, sanding, sanding.... for real you can't see too many difference. Taking off scratches and making the curves beautiful... now you can see almost the final shape.

But today, pickups just arrived, and I was making pretty much work. First, I started making the holes for the pots. 3 different hole sizes!

Then, checking the pickups and making a template. One more for my collection!

And finally, I was routing the pickup cavities. It is a delicate job... GOOD!!! With this, I finish all the holes!!!!
