New Quilter bass amp!

25ft trs cable into the line input of a mixer channel I believe would be considered balanced. I'm ok with that but I'm not sure a typical snake would have trs jacks or just ts.

Plug this into the snake then, your 25ft TRS cable into it.

Or this into your TRS out on your amp then a mic cable on it :)

Can someone comment on the differences between the two twelves? There's such a big price difference. I was considering the sealed 12 with the angled baffl for monitoring purposes, also because it's a sealed cab which I generally like and it uses the same 12 that Duke uses and I know I like the voicing of that speaker. The new 12 is ported which I'm wondering will be too boomy for my tastes? But the price is certainly attractive. If I ever wanted to add a second cabinet, would these two versions play well together?

The BassDock12 does have more "beef" than the Bassliner12, but it is not at all boomy. Very controlled low end, and a bit more full/warm than the Bassliner. One reason for the price difference is ceramic (BassDock) vs neo (Bassliner).

The new EQ layout is literally a step backwards too IMO.

Granted, it'll be easier for some to comprehend.

While I also like the filters and saw them as a selling point with the BB800 in their uniqueness and efficacy, Quilter listened to feedback from users in making that decision, so regardless of preference, they made the change based on feedback that (the most vocal of) their customers provided. Saying a "step backward" is purely a subjective assessment based on personal preference and should probably be prefaced as so, otherwise its not really a fair and accurate portrayal of the company's efforts and development, based on user feedback they've received.

Ultimately, I would have liked to have seen a 4 band EQ, AND the filters, but whatever.
