New Rickenbacker Colors

The pictures on Rickenbacker's facebook page look a lot more pink than on CME's website...I wonder which picture is closer to real life?

I searched for other examples of plumglo Rics from older runs and they look darker still.

I'll take a Picture of mine tomorrow outside and post it.

The "checkered" burst looks pretty good, BUT..i hate black hardware. It looks "fake", or plastic..especially on a Rickenbacker.
The plum one is not my playground.

I actually like the color at CME better than the one in person, it looks almost like a pastel at CME. My next Ric will be an S also.

To each their own and I am not badmouthing them, the price they listed is very fair for a limited model.

Well after seeing Basskadets pics in the sun I had to break down and order one of the plumglo ones.CME has been good to deal with so far as well. Mistakes happen and Marc was good at clearing up the issue.

Hopefully Ric will do a limited run of them for one of their dealers.
Wildwood has asked Ric (several times) if they could have a store-specific limited edition 4003, but no response as of yet.

Meanwhile, I'm still patiently awaiting the return of the "white with black trim & hardware" option...
