Not really actually. I also hear people saying defretting blocked necks is a bad idea, including my teacher. He's even telling me to refret, but it really sounds great. I've compared it to the Customshop Jaco Relic Jazz and it's in my opinion not beaten by that. And besides, I don't want to put the binding through another neck-job. I think if I would it's gonna come lose or break completely.
It wasn't my choice to have it defretted by the way, I bought it like this and just replaced the pots because they were a bit 'dodgy' and the pickups were soldered wrong:
Humming when I touched the poles. But that's taken care of now aswell.
It's a beautiful fretless, looks and feels 'old' and 'vintage' and I'm keeping it like that :D
