New Sire P Basses!

Now that i'm looking at the other basses, and i'm wondering if they're just going to use the necks with the same maple fingerboards as the V7 Vintage which would give them the black binding/blocks to go with the black pickguard. I think black pickguard with the pearl blocks/binding on a maple fretboard would look weird.

And so it continues. What's the big deal? No 5 string pics. They look like the 4 but with the low B. Sound samples? It's the same preamp as the V7...so how much different can it be? I ordered my P7 5 in white the first day.

LOL, I was just shaking the bushes....and apparently it worked.
I think pictures are no biggie however in regards to the sound samples, yes, in order to consider buying it I DO expect it to sound different than the V7 (specially with the neck pup selected), otherwise what is the point? If they sound very close I minus well just keep playing my V7.
I would like to get a nice P Bass thump in passive plus a even nicer amplified version of it when I need.

Has to be some sort of promotional deal to get the P7 early, I would think. Is he an official endorser? Don't know what kind of price breaks they get. And he's giving one away??

He doesn't know what they cost it seems, so it seems certain he didn't pay for them, retail at least. He stated "there's nothing in this for me", and mentioned not just giving one away but that the others will be given to some kind of music learning program, or something, if I heard that correctly. What he gets, I guess, is eyeballs on him and his Lessons, and something to fill some video time.

Yeah, I remember now, he wasn't sure about the price and actually looks it up online at online at one point in the video.

I know that about 1 month ago on Instagram, he (Scott) ask if some of us knows about Sire and what was our opinion on those bases. So I know, he didn't really know anything about Sire. He even look "lost" when he discover the M7.

Yeah, they are all to give. The school, is his own. Scott's Bass Lesson.

That makes two of us! I was considering cobbling together a 5-string Super P-Bass...but the Sire will be cheaper, better built, and sound better than what I could build. Can't wait!
