I agree with the thread that if you break down the basses to their parts and look at them on paper, the EBMM would be the better pick. Also, while Fender has some great basses, if I were pressed to say, I think Ernie Ball is probably more consistent. Also, there is no doubt in my mind that EBMM has basically mastered that active pickup/ humbucker thing. So, I think the poll got it right.That's a nice rig and a great NBD! However, the Flea bass is very new and I don't think very many have played one. Also, at the end of the day, a TB poll vs. getting to play one for an hour kinda doesn't even compare. The poll results were something I definitely took into consideration, and even though I went against the result, the fact that the vast majority said EBMM made me weigh the decision much more carefully.
