New stuff from Ibanez - 2009 models

I have a 4 string Fender Aerodyne right now, and I'm looking to pick up a 5 string with great mids at an affordable price and I've been recommended Ibanez for good 5 strings. Anyone wanna share some sound clips of the 500-1000$ dollar Ibanez 5 strings?

Not bad at all! The new BTB design is soooo much better than the last and that Prestige SR5005E marks the first Ibanez that I would actually like to own assuming that it doesn't have the Bartolini MK-1 Pups. It looks beautiful! Looks like a good year for Ibanez.

That new sr600 looks awfully familiar to the cort b4, same body finish, almost the same neck and headstock. Possibly the same idea with the electronics? i dunno, but they look very similar.

wow i never thought i'd actually be looking to an ibanez bass again, but that SR5000E is really just beautiful. I would really actually love to buy that bass even though its really not my style. I just hope the rumors arent true of these basses running $2000+ dollars.

That is just gorgeous - especially the headstock. It's the same design as on my '83 Ibanez and I'm glad to see it make a comeback.

according to the file i downloaded from Ibanez USA website, SR5006E's list price is $2799.99, SMAP is $2099.99. SR500xE series will be available in March, 2009.

It has the Stylesweep EQ like (I think?) on my SR400QM - I'm trying to find out if they are the same exact system

At the absolute latest, I'd say the end of March. All the stores down here in Australia start recieving new gear around March, so I'd assume by then all the models would be well into circulation in the USA.
