New TC Electronic bass combo - BG250

Why, are you planning on buying one?

My guess is that this is 250w, but without the APM. It could also be exactly like the BG500 power wise, but they altered the ratings. My money is not on the latter.

The TonePrint concept is very cool IMO, putting it in a combo makes this an interesting product for many I would think.

Say WHATTTT!

That's cheap...and at that weight?!

Perfect little combo...good enough for practice and small gigs.

Exactly why I'm interested. Our college orchestra is touring Europe in the summer, and my 35watt little combo just won't cut it, and my full TCE stack is too much to take. So, this is right in the middle. Light too, which is absolutely ideal for carrying around.

At this price, well below GB/MB and even the Ibanez Promethean, I think I've found my small/light/fully featured combo.

Looks very cool, but I am not so much into factory pre- programmed effects, and I tend not to like multi effect units. But, looks like a cool combo.

A few years ago I would agree that most programmed effects just plain sucked, but newer ones have combined certain effects (with various parms) to create some very cool sounds. My thinking is TCE, being a pioneer in great sounding effects, probably has some cool ones built into this combo.

Is there a jack for a second cabinet?
