Someone on an earlier thread asked what the price would be for the new DynaBass50C and 100C combos. I called L&M in Burlington this afternoon and spoke to Ian. He said they aren't in stock yet but might be in 2 weeks. The prices he looked up for me were $275 for the 50C and $375 for the 100C.
I'll believe the weights when I try one out myself. The 50 is claimed to be 18 lbs, vs. 30 for the current Yorkville model. The DynaBass 100 is supposed to be 30 lbs. I don't know what the Yorkville 100C is but it's probably over 40 lbs.
At those prices and weights they're going to sell a boatload of them. Could be great for a good sounding practice amp that you can take out and actually play small rooms with in certain (not too loud) groups. And they both have pre-post D.I. so they can be used as a stage monitor with good PA support. And a headphone jack and CD inputs for practice.
I haven't heard these new Traynors yet but if they're as good as the Yorkvilles, they might be worth looking at. Same warranty in North America.
