New Traynor YBA 100!!

I had a YBA200 for a while. It was a good unit with the added bonus of being able to run my guitar amp’s high gain preamp into the YBA’s 200 watt power section then into my 4x12”. Through humbuckers it was like the finger of god came down and touched my cab, wow, just massive girth, it was phenomenal, and incredibly loud!:woot::bassist::cool:
For sure I guess it should uncurl!

Guys, I had the privilege of using a YBA100 (avec sealed 210) at a gig this passed w/e. Medium sized room (The Black Swan Tavern in Toronto). The amp preformed flawlessly and delivered a meaty and warm tone with lots of power to spare! I can now say that I wholly recommend this amp and will be buying one as soon as I can!

My suggestion to any who are interested is to call your local dealer and let them know you're interested. The first runs are quite small and it might take a bit of time to be generally available. Good luck!

I placed my pre-order on 2/25 and was told that it should ship around 3/20. I hope I'm part of the first run!

Thanks for the quick (and thankfully positive!) review. Very excited for this amp.

I'm seriously in love with this amp.

The first run is extremely small (48 units), and 'should' be ready for shipment from around March 15th, 2020. According to our schedule. This run is also completely 'sold out.' A subsequent run is slated for the beginning of May with at lease 2x the quantity.

Which model 210 is that???

It's actually a DHX210 and was a experimental sample originally for one of the Dark Horse amps. There was a 410 version as well. I have both. You see, I have a problem, I'm addicted to sealed 10 inch cabinets.
I thought as much...how does it handle the bass as opposed to the TC210?

I haven't compared them directly. The TC210 is massive, large cavity, has a tweeter and is ported... This one is a LOT smaller and very 'vintage' sounding, dark and punchy. It's like a cabinet made in the 60's 'cept the baffle has the speakers angled slightly inward, towards each other (apparently giving it a darker tone).

I may have to give that 4x10 a try...you don't notice any loss in the low end though?

How much headroom did you have? I'm concerned the amp may get too gritty to achieve the volume I'm looking for.

Awesome! Hope you ship!!
Update. It appears there will be a small pilot run which will go to the Canadian store as rentals. The next run is likely to be May for dealers in the USA. I am keeping up with availability. Could always be surprised and they decide earlier.
And yes, we do ship
