New Traynor YBA 100!!

Does that mean our orders have been pushed back to may? Initial pilot/run = rental only?

I'm also hoping this new amp means some new cabs. I would really dig a compact neo 212.
Are you in Canada or USA? I spoke with the USA headquarters sales team and was told none of the first run were coming to USA and the Canadian first run was a pilot run meant for rental. It is possible they are releasing some of those in the wild, if you are in Canada, contact your dealer and they should be able to tell you.
I have ordered for USA and am told “probably” sometimes in May; there is not even an official actual list price, only a nominal list price (which should be close). Yorkville does small scheduled runs. One thing this does is helps insure optimal quality control. So, for example, if a previous scheduled run of say a YABA300 is for some reason late in production, that would push the date back of the YBA100. Honestly, I think they will arrive....when they arrive, as I have seen production pushed to later dates.

I'm fairly certain that if someone says "I want to buy one"...we'll sell it to you! If you're in Canada, contact your local LM, slap down a deposit, and reserve yours now!

Thanks for clarification - I was simply repeating what I was told by USA Yorkville. I did think that even if they were for rental, I assumed the store's policy would allow it to be purchased. I am jealous, though, that all of this run is kept there with you guys.

You could just rent one and refuse to return it.:)

I pre-ordered my YBA100 in early February (or literally the day after it appeared online), and an email from Long & McQuade today gives an ETA of April 28th. My YBA300 and SB200H will tide me over in the meantime (and must say I'm shockingly pleased with the SB200H. It was only supposed to be my fail-safe back up - not that I ever worry about a Traynor going down, but it's a passable reason to own more gear. It's giving me plenty of larger pub-size-gig-power to spare with no PA-support going through a TC115 NEO, with real nice tone. Still can't wait for the YBA regardless).

In production kiddies...

I hope everyone there is ok!

...and still pumping out yba100s for us...

We're trying but may need to have layoffs. It will help get everyone into isolation. We need to get this under control, globally! Supply chains etc. are strained. People need to take this seriously.

I really hope you don’t have to lay people off. And we can all wait for our amps. This is a global crisis.
