If i was in a scenraio where i could only buy a new bass like i had a guitar center gear card for say 300$ and i went to guitar center and had no other money a wentz is like 280$, thats the bass i would buy. I played one and it was nice.

Its like we have always said you can play any style of (crap) music on any bass. So do these mall punk guys just like to make stuff for the sake of it? Jazz body, P neck, One jazz pup, No tone knob=one pointless "sig", P body, P pup, Jazz neck, no tone knob and bat= another even more pointless "sig". They may have unique sounds or whatever but could either of these bands not get by with anything else?

I want my sig to be something crazy like, a P body with 5 P-90s, a 35" scale strat neck and a hippo sticker in pearloid green. Any takers?

Its a gonna be a sick bass and i love how everyone is pissed because of pete wentz. lets talk about a really crappy player. tom delonge. he gets a fender endorsement and then a gibson endorsement and cant even play power chords correct. give me a break.

who cares either way whether they can play good or not if the instrument is sick im glad it finds a way to market and hopefully in my hands.

I believe the Noel Redding Jazz Bass has a neck that is about the same width as a P bass.

My main bass is a Sting Ray, but I do own this bass as a back up. I own this and the Epiphone Sixx. People asking about the one tone knob, the Sixx only has a kill switch. So, just adjust at your rig. This bass compares a lot to the Mexican Fenders. Which I don't know how much that is saying, but for half the price. I'm not huge on the bat logo either, but that won't stop me from playing it. It is very comfortable to hold and play. And a side by side comparison with a Squier P, the Wentz is well worth the extra $50 they charge. To me, it's not all about looks. It's about playability and feel. Pick one up before you judge.

Purple is my favorite color and I'm taking my son to see FOB this coming Sunday so I hope to see him play it live! I know he is not a great bassist (Pete even admits that himself) but they are a good band. I'll let you all know how they are live in a week.

He writes virtually all the lyrics but he doesnt contribute to the music writing at all, Think stump,the singer is the principal songwriter when it comes to the music
