Big +1. I never understand all the hate threads like this. I don't like Pete or his music either, but I just ignore him and don't listen to their CDs.
I'd like to see footage of him actually playing and not being an "entertainer". I'm curious to see if he actually has any talent or if the speculation is true that he's just a poster boy. Not a fan, but he's definitely killing it financially im sure. I wish i owned a bar financed through my bass...
More than once he's said himself that he's not talented, including the phraze,
"I need to learn the notes on my bass"
You know what's funny...every time a thread starts with his name in the title, he gets a 10+ page thread that goes on for weeks about who hates or loves the guy...regardless of if he can play or not, he's doing something right...
IMO, the guy is a marketing genius.
he already has one! why does he deserve another? he isn't special at all, just a generic emo-pop-rock dude
It's not any different than adding color options to another Fender guitar. It's not an entirely new guitar, just another color choice.
And btw, was it mentioned that his kid is having a Squier Sig too ?!

I feel the same way about Creed and SRV clones as most of the TB world feels about F.O.B. HOWEVER, I will be first to admit that as much as I despise the aforementioned Creed (and their ilk), they are obviously doing something right. I'd take the gig in a heartbeat if they needed a bassist.

The only thing "signature" that I could find with this bass in my local guitar shop is that decal itself.
They have the exact same P-bass, there.. funny thing is, this "signature" was cheaper than the standard!

lol i dont mind fallout boy at all, my cover band does this song and we play it soooo much better than they do haha.
