New: Zoom B3n Multi-Effects

One irrelevant question please!
Does anyone have any feedback about the quality of the headphones preamp? (Given the high quality headphones of cource.) I'm planning to use it for practising late at night and I am searching for the right tool.

On the B3 the headphones out was the same as all multis, sub-par. Good enough for practice.
If you plan to use serious headphones plug through a serious headphone amp. It will cost you almost as much as a B3n.

One other question on the B3n -- would it be possible to route the looper output out the left channel, and the rest of the sound (including the looper) out the right channel? I'm guessing no, but it never hurts to ask. This is to provide aux loop playback for a drummer. Thanks.

Very good idea.
I'm looking for a really good quality (at least for a passionate hobbyist), motivation for more practising and enjoyable sound in my ears! My only hesitation is that after that move, the signal of the b3n may reveals its weaknesses..

That's a good idea. I'd also like to see ZOOM implement some discrete Left/Right routing options for the B3n, such as Left = WET, Right = DRY, or a crossover output where Left = LOW, right = High. There are lots of possibilities for helpful routings with discrete L/R options.

Will this type of thing happen? I doubt it, but you never know.

I would like to think that with BOSS busy readying its computer-based patch editor for the GT-1B (expected September 2017) that Zoom is perhaps taking similar measures with its Guitar Lab software?

Working in our favor here is that Guitar Lab is also used by Zoom's current guitarist products. If it were only for Zoom's bassist community we surely then would be in trouble.

Only 2 reasons why I haven't bought the B3n yet:

1. No computer-based patch editor (which the B3 has). My B3 is attached to a pedalboard, so the thought of having to 'reach down' to edit multiple parameters for a new patch is beyond ridiculous in 2017.

2. No Gallien Krueger, Hartke Amps/Cabs, or Mooger Fooger Filter from the B3.
They are my most used effects, and still sound awesome - especially that sexy Mooger Fooger Filter!

If Zoom add a patch editor & the Moog LP Filter, I would purchase immediately, as I'm sure they'll add The Gallien-Krueger and Hartke at some point, later this year.......

Agreed. I tell ya, that whole landing on the moon thing has really raised our expectations for just about everything else.

Is there something like an Attack setting on the B3n? I want to build some ambient patches. I figured out that HD-Hall, reverb and Air are pretty cool but i want that the sound is rising up if you know what i mean....
