Have you guys discovered the hidden Easter eggs in some (most) of the double spaced FX? There are the solo boost buttons on the amp sims, the graphic EQ has an A/B button for two different EQ curves(or boost). Anybody found anything else?

On the G versions, some amps get a tremolo effect when you hit the second switch.Have you guys discovered the hidden Easter eggs in some (most) of the double spaced FX? Okay. I didn't catch the final moment but the run time was 11 1/2 - 12 hours.
Edit: Might be a false alarm. Perhaps the unit shut itself off after 12 hours. I'll investigate further tomorrow.
I still don't understand why one has to have a mic sim in conjunction with a cabinet sim. It seems to me that when running the B3n into a power amp and an FRFR cabinet in a live situation I should have the option of hearing the amp/cab combo as if it were in the room or mic'ed through a PA. The mic sim is ideal for recording or for modeling an amp/cab/mic/PA live setting but why not the amp/cab/room option?
If you're looking for reasons to be grouchy, here are the limitations compared with B3:
On the other hand I think we'll be happy with the improved DSP, the more effects, the faster/better tuner, the improved control layout.
- Takes two foot switches to get to tuner, the first one is a long press
- No XLR
- No USB audio interface
- No USB power
- New gripe: Guitar Lab *does* let you switch between patches but that's it. No editing parameters, no editing patches, no control over patch behavior whatsoever, from either PC or the B3n directly. All onboard controls are completely dead in "PC MODE." In the B3 I can stand at my desk and use the software to edit effects and patches.
I still don't know what the Solo parameter on about do. Could anyone tell me how to use it?
I think it also has a lot to do with the fact that the B3n is the first bass-specific multi-effects unit to be released by ANY company since.... well, the Zoom B3! I've been very disappointed with Boss for not releasing a bass version of the ME-70 OR the ME-80, so Zoom are basically the only company that still makes smaller effects units for bass (I think Line 6 still make a larger bass unit, but IIRC it came out several years ago). It's cause most of us have been through this Zoom thing several times. AND, we've been waiting for this for awhile.
Wondering why more "top artists" aren't using this? They don't seem to have any endorsers.
Sorry that I was the bearer of bad news, but in my case the solution to this was inexpensive, that is, I just powered the B3n using its own wall wart and then powered the remaining pedals using another wall wart.
In the case of the Volto, the cost is unfortunately more significant.
Re Edit: The Power Bank seems to have an auto off function at 12 hours. Back up and running for another 3 hours so far. I won't bore you all again until i have the actual result. I'm guessing 20-24 hours.Okay. I didn't catch the final moment but the run time was 11 1/2 - 12 hours.

Me likey!Yes it is....so I just bought one of these for the purpose of powering the TurboTuner. I think they said a single battery should be good for like 1200 tunings which is quite a lot. I can velcro that to the bottom of the Pedaltrain then just swap batteries once a year. Problem solved, cheaply.
For me the mic sim is a big plus though, I have no use of the amp and cab simulations outside of home recording use.
I guess it would have costed Zoom a very minimal amount of extra resources to make it possible to bypass that option though.
But hey, then we might have had to do without the Bomber effect!
1. A bit of a bummer, since I use mine as my primary tuner whenever in a band context.
2. Don't mind personally, my amp got a balanced XLR DI, also prefer to have it miked up anyway.
3. Couldn't care less, never used that option, my audio interface is able to record at both higher bit and sample rate and it's FireWire as well, so also less latency.
Beside the B3 only got one input, doesn't sound as well for other instruments and got no microphone input.
4. Why would I want that?
5. A bit of a bummer too. Definitely would be nice if an add would allow you even more flexibility over editing the multi effect, instead of the other way around.
Hi. Please see my post with details about the octavers. The B3n can hang with the Nova sound wise and has far better pitch shifting (though not perfect). The Nova gives instant access to more effect switching but I will be using the B3n. I have several scenarios that it covers quite nicelyNow I see, that the TC Nova System can't do that. What about comparing their sounds?![]()
I've seen the pitch shifting review! ...and the other effects are just as good or better, than the Nova? That's nice news! Thanks!Hi. Please see my post with details about the octavers. So I've been trying to read through this thread, seeing what a lot of saying. I am a fan of the MS60b, never did the B3 though. The B3n looks pretty awesome.
So what's the general consensus guys?! Effects sound better huh?? Overall, good? Great? OK? Horrid?
There is no way to turn the mic sim off and just use the cab sim. Instead there is a balance control that mixes the pure sound of the head with the sound of the mic'd cabinet. It is variable but you cannot have the sound of an un-miced cabinet. I would much prefer being able to turn the mic sim off when playing live through a rig and on when recording or as an option through a PADoes the mic switch work in the same way (in your experience) with the B3n as it does with the G#n?
That is : cab mic on = sounds better through headphones (and presumably line in, frfr, etc)
Mic off = better played onto the front of a physical amp and cab,for those of us who like an amp and cab sim through a real amp
?
Yes, the modulation, delay and reverb effects are nice. The drives are okay, I like the Blueberry because it is the most organic but is not distortion or fuzz. The boost on the Nova can be replaced either with the solo function on the amp sims, by using an EQ or I prefer the EP boost because it has bass and treble controls. For it's size and cost it is a definite winner.I've seen the pitch shifting review! ...and the other effects are just as good or better, than the Nova? That's nice news! Thanks!
