Back in the 90s the ship I was assigned to pulled into Melbourne. I ran to the nearest shoe store to get me some nice RM Williams workboots. Much to my disappointment, the damned things cost more in Oz than back here in the US :confused:

Admittedly I was in tourist trap center so that may have something to do with the price.

If any UK/European tbers want one at US prices, I'd be willing to have it shipped to my home and send it on to the UK. USPS is across the street/on the way to work so it is not a problem for me.

As a side note - Anyone know if this pedal can be used as a fuzz only, octave only, and Envelope Filter only?

Yep, you can use each of those separately. I don't understand why people complain about prices in euros. Why not just buy one from tonefactor and get it shipped for US$20 to anywhere in the world. It runs on 9v DC power so it's not like you would have to have a European version of the pedal.

I'll be buying mine from Australia if it's cheap enough. Otherwise I'll get it from tonefactor. I do feel bad about the plane fuel used to ship it half way round the world and back though :hmm:

I guess with the SD card and a laptop, changing patches will be pretty easy. I had a Korg R3 synth for a while and the editing software on a computer was so much easier to use than editing patches on the keyboard.

I don't think I would want a synth pedal with a million knobs on it for playing live. I like the idea of being able to set it up before a gig and just click through the saved patches and not fiddle with it too much on stage.

I didn't see any mention of PC-based editing software on the website - has it been mention in this thread?
