Holy crap, what an incredible last 3 minutes and last play!
Ha! When I posted, I wasn't sure if they were even going to run the extra point.I dont' know, i thought the kneeldown extra point attempt was pretty dull.
The line was 5-5.5 so it was either a push or a win for Saints' bettors.
That touchdown pass was great, the Saints tackling technique, not-so-less.
Number 43 for the Saints had to do one thing. Tackle the guy. Wrap up and tackle him. He was far enough inside the field of play that time would have expired, and the Saints would have been Philly-bound. Not only did 43 miss the tackle (or more appropriately, miss the HIT - he didn't even attempt to wrap up and tackle the guy), but he took out the only teammate (#20) who still might have had a chance to make the tackle. Somehow, I don't think he's gonna' sleep well tonight...

I've watched it a few times now. I believe he was early and realized it at the last second, so he tried to avoid hitting Diggs and getting flagged for PI. An interference call would have set up Minny in FG range. I'm not sure he had enough time to slow down and get there at the right time. Maybe he did, but he's a rookie in his first playoff game and was probably too jacked up.took the words right out of my mouth.
