NFL 2017 Week #19 Divisional Round

I dont' know, i thought the kneeldown extra point attempt was pretty dull.

The line was 5-5.5 so it was either a push or a win for Saints' bettors.

That touchdown pass was great, the Saints tackling technique, not-so-less.
Ha! When I posted, I wasn't sure if they were even going to run the extra point.

I haven't made enough good picks this season for anyone to trust me, but I knew there was no way no how the Steelers were going to win today.
As soon as I heard Tomlin talking that crap about two games with New England back before the Indy game to Mitchell running his stupid mouth and disrespecting Jacksonville to Bell threatening the team earlier in the week, this was exactly what I thought would happen today.
It's about time Tomlin step up as a head coach, run off the guys who aren't about the team first, and redo that defense. Butler slid in there as DC once they ran LeBeau off and I think he only got the job by default. He hasn't done anything to earn it. Might as well look long and hard at Haley too.

Thought Big Ben to Antonio Brown was a deadly twosome, they just needed more of that and less stupid plays, they were there own worst enemy, that was a winnable game for them, but The Jags were the better team at the end of the day. So good for them, I hope they send the Pats packing, wouldn't that be nice for a change.

What can you say about the finish of that Vikes-Saints game, it was spectacular to say the least. Go Vikes !!!

Well, as a 40+ year Vikings fan, off for the past 10 or so as I couldn't take it any more, they still have time to blow it. I am not convinced they win next week. Outside at Philly, I'm not so sure....

Number 43 for the Saints had to do one thing. Tackle the guy. Wrap up and tackle him. He was far enough inside the field of play that time would have expired, and the Saints would have been Philly-bound. Not only did 43 miss the tackle (or more appropriately, miss the HIT - he didn't even attempt to wrap up and tackle the guy), but he took out the only teammate (#20) who still might have had a chance to make the tackle. Somehow, I don't think he's gonna' sleep well tonight...

I've watched it a few times now. I believe he was early and realized it at the last second, so he tried to avoid hitting Diggs and getting flagged for PI. An interference call would have set up Minny in FG range. I'm not sure he had enough time to slow down and get there at the right time. Maybe he did, but he's a rookie in his first playoff game and was probably too jacked up.

Also, don't forget he had the leaping interception near the end of the third quarter to set up the Saints' second TD.

I feel bad for the kid. What really killed the Saints was their awful first half.

Some great games. Other than no Pat's, I had no rooting interests. But those were some amazing endings. I was just telling my son it didn't matter who won, but nothing was better than a close game, and we got that last ending. And while Big Been may not be the nicest person, he is a great leader.
