Pack/Saints at Lambeau

Saints played out of their minds against Detroit. It will be tough to stop that kind of offensive firepower if it shows up at Lambeau. We just have very few horses left. But Hundley is going to have to man up and we'll see what he has with a week of game planning and practice. The plan is to stick with Hundley. Barring him looking like milktoast, I don't see the Pack going out and signing Kap or anyone else. This is why you keep backups in a system. All that being said:

For the first time in about two years I'm psyched to watch the Cardinals play. Last week's game was as near a perfect first half I've ever seen any team ever play. Proper execution of everything they'd drawn up, so it seemed.

(Then the second half came, and they couldn't do much of anything. Except 3-and-out. 'Nuff said.)

But I'm still staying positive...:thumbsup:

Titans versus another up and coming defense. Mariota showed he can absolutely throw from the pocket. As his mobility returns they should be back to business as usual. I actually think his Monday night display gave defenses something to think about. He isn't your typical spread offense converted QB. He is a passer with elite speed for his position who can read and break down a defense. Taylor continues to impress. If Corey can ever get right and contribute I think the passing game will be in very good shape in Tenn.

I'm going to ambitiously say Titans 31 - Browns 20

It helps Mariota that the Titans are playing the Browns. I really want the Browns to win some games, but realism says it's not likely.

Seahawks play the Giants in the meadowlands. The potential for the first 0-0 tie in a very long time is there. Seattle has a smothering defense. They don't have much of an offense. The Giants don't have as ferocious a defense, but stopping Seattle hasn't been all that difficult with one exception this year.

The Browns have had several bright spots this year already but there seems to be growing pains with the chemistry. Only two games have got out of hand for them so far. The only real head scratcher (sic) for me with them is what the hell happened to Crowell? He's been fairly useless so far.

I keep waiting for my birds to fall back to reality, but they keep playing like the team to beat.

A big Thursday night win over Carolina (and Pete Morelli) in the national spotlight + 10 days off + playing against a Redskins team at home that barely squeaked by SF + (possibly) getting Lane Johnson back = a big MNF win, sweeping the Redskins, improving to 3-0 in the division and 6-1 overall.

My pop is loving it. Wentz is the real deal. Getting Smallwood back will add another wrinkle to them. They look like the only NFC team that is consistently putting together fairly complete games. The Panthers are going in the right direction but Cam still seems "wrong". The Seachickens have o-line issues, Washington and Atlanta seem to be Jekyll and Hyde teams. It's an odd season already.

With no horse in that race, last night's game was just very enjoyable to watch as a football fan. I only saw the second half but I like those games where you just know that no lead is safe.

Props to Oakland and their not giving up at any point. And I gotta admit, all those flags at the end were all good and legitimate calls. I'd never seen so many plays being run with 0:00 on the clock!

Little in the way of Defense. The last kick to win it was tense because it was on the heels of a blocked kick, a missed kick and a false start. My gals cousin was in the stadium texting us just after the pass to tie it up. Pandemonium. I was happy for Lisa, she saw a hell of a game.

Ha ha! But y'know, that's okay by me. I kinda' like the fact that he doesn't look the same as every other football coach on the planet. Heck, I'm an old man now, but I'd let MY hair get long again if I could stand that "in-between" period...

I'm still waiting for Ryan to say something I don't already know.
I thought these guys are supposed to bring insights to the game that fans may not know.
I enjoy listening to Romo since he does that. He picks up on formations, tendencies, player movement, etc and explains what's going on.

Edit...I realize Romo is calling games and Ryan just talks about them, but Ryan has yet, while I'm listening/watching, to say anything insightful. I believe a few of the guys who post here every week could take over for Ryan.

Loved my Panthers since watching their first NFL game in Clemson stadium...... I believed Cam was THE man since he was drafted. He has the stats of a hall of gamer. But after five seasons I just cannot get why he is either really on or really off. Dangit.
