I think his body is letting him know it's time to retire. I hope he does. I have a lot of respect for him and his intelligence. He will do well, post football, provided that he hasn't beat his brains to a pulp and his body to the point it no longer works. He has a whole lot of life ahead of him. Using it up on one last football season isn't a good idea.Well bummer, Richard Sherman has a pulled hamstring. In his words, 'asked a lot from my body in a short amount of time'.
While I am not an elite athlete, I can relate. I have 17 years on Mr. Sherman, and know the feeling when I ask too much from my body. It let's me know.

And, as far as asking things from an old bag of bones, I'm about 30 years older than he is. Nothing works quite like you want it to after a while.
