Gotta love Fran Tarkenton. He was Russell Wilson running around before Russell Wilson. I didn't know he was a hot head, too. I wonder what caused him to do that.
I won't go into some of the things that may or may not have happened while I was playing rugby.
I watched it a second time and it looked like the defender took a swing at the back of his head as they ran out of bounds.

It looked like he kept running for a while after he crossed the toal line, which I thought was odd.
Holy schnikes, what an ending to that game tonight. I love me some defense, so that was fun to watch each team make a stand at the end.
I'll tell you what though, Kyler Murray is legit. I wasn't so sure about him, even making some less than kind comments about him in the past, but he has proven me wrong. I like how he plays.
That was great seeing all the Packer fans in the stands. Going to Arizona at the end of October for a Packers game? That's a no brainer for Packer fans who have the circumstances to allow for that kind of travel.

Kingsbury: Hopkins checked himself into game
How does that work? Did Hopkins tell another player to get off the field so he can enter the game?
When I played football, I listened to my coaches and the captains. If some other player yelled at me to get off the field so he could enter the game I likely would not have complied unless a coach or captain confirmed.

That's the way Kingsbury rolls. He coached Johnny Football, so you know discipline is not his strong suit. Imagine Hopkins doing that with Bilichick.
Funny you mention that name as that was exactly who I was thinking about and how he'd respond if one of his players did that.

I had some serious doubts about KM when they drafted him as well, but he looked really good last year and has continued to develop and improve. He is really fun to watch.
A game without defense is like a day without sunshine.
Important to note that while offenses for the Colts, Bengals, and Titans are getting recognition as they trend upwards, their success has been equally dependent on improved defensive play. (Not so in KC…)
Some interesting matchups on tap this weekend with Colts/Titans, Cowboys/Vikings, Saints/Buccaneers, and Patriots/Chargers.
Maybe the Lions will win one this weekend? Other than a couple of games, they’ve played teams pretty close, and certainly would’ve won the game against the Ravens if not for that missed delay of game at the end.
Steelers had a chance to go up by a field goal before halftime. Plus, they were to receive the 2nd half kickoff.

I've only seen the Steelers play a few times in the last couple seasons.
