Even Steelers fans gotta admit the Colts loss (by 15 points!) is worse. Both are bad, though.Losing to the Jags in a must win game vs. tying the Lions. It's a close call.

Dolphins don't go to the playoffs, but they finish off the season by knocking off the Pats, which means they have to settle for a wild-card spot rather than winning the division. A 9-8 record for Miami after a 1-7 start. I'll take it!

Oh, it's possible to host a team within your division. I don't think the Steelers/Bengals matchup will happen, though, probably due to tiebreakers of some sort.
Holy crap! Chargers & Raiders ARE tied up 32-32 in OT! Steelers might not get in after all!

I was rooting for the Chargers going into that game. But their last two possessions were so ridiculous, I just couldn't anymore. Herbert went 6 for 18 on the tying drive, and 2 for 6 on the OT drive. Not all his fault with the receivers dropping some balls, but it made the game take forever. And with modern passing rules heavily favoring the offense, there's just no excuse for that inefficiency. They didn't deserve to win, IMO.
I think the Chargers were playing for the tie. Good on the Raiders for sticking it to them. As David Carr said in the post game interview on the field, they wanted to win this game and send them home.

I bet they also wanted to face the Bengals instead of KC. No disrespect to Cincy, which has played well of late, but I'd still take my chances with them over the Chiefs.

Jax stepped up. They were disrespected by so many folks in the media last week, including the Manning brothers Monday night. Jags probably took that to heart... I would have. And I dig they're probably still going to bag the top pick.
Yeah, the Colts have felt great over the past couple of months... and that kind of spirit can lift a team. I wonder how many AFC coaches e-mailed or FedEx'd their game notes on the Colts down to the Jags' office this week... ha!

The Colt's got to see, first hand, what life with Carson is like. All good till you absolutely need him to shine. Then his talent goes on walk-about. He out Dalton's Dalton.
Was really excited for the Cardinals' post-season chances. Started off 7-0 , then got to 10-2. 
Then they fell off the cliff, losing four of their last five. Definitely NOT the trending you want to see heading into the playoffs.

Seahawks and Browns both went out on wins. All is not lost. But it is time to hibernate until baseball for me.
This was one of those, "I don't care who wins" games for me. But while watching, I found myself pulling for the Chargers. IMO, they both deserve a playoff berth more than the Steelers. (And I've been a Steelers fan since the early '60s...)

I dunno, going for it on 4th down from your own 18 with plenty of time left seems like playing to lose no matter what the analytics say. But if they'd called a pass play it proabably would've worked, considering how JH kept converting them. In any case I'm really, really tired of how "officiating" decides so many outcomes these days. Calling the play in whatever way gives the most latitude for replay overturns rubs me the wrong way for sure.
