Bengals fans are coming out of the woodwork here.

I'm no Bengals fan, although I do like Joe Burrow a lot. That kid is gonna be something special. Already is, but what a career ahead for him. But I do think they'll handle K.C.. Those high ankle sprains are hard to recover from quickly, and it looked really ugly when Mahomes got rolled up on. So if he plays (which I'm pretty sure he will), he might be downgraded to "Nearly Mortal" status.

In the Dallas/San Francisco game I had quite a dilemma. I don't like either team. But I found myself rooting for the Niners just because of Brock "Mr. Irrelevant" Purdy and Christian McCaffery. But being a Pennsylvania native, I'll be pulling for the Eagles next week.

I'll take the 49ers from here on out. That sure was cool seeing all the former 49ers hanging around the sidelines and field. That brought back some memories that I don't have with any of the other teams except Kansas City.
So yeah, SF and KC for the big game. In that final game, Jerry Rice outruns Deron Cherry and Bill Maas for the game winning TD.

Bengals vs. Eagles in the S.B. Toss-up, but I'll go with Eagles in a tight one.

It's a little deceptive. The 9ers got past the Cowboys in what was a defensive struggle all the way to the end. The Eagles blew the Giants into the next county and play the 9ers at home. I'm not convinced that means much. Same with how the Bengals more or less destroyed the Bills and the Chiefs were tested. My guess is 9ers - Chiefs, but that's just a super wild ass guess.

And once again, my Bills fail to take that next step to greatness. People will mention the injuries, emotions, coaches, etc. IMHO, football games are won and lost in the trenches. While I love Josh Allen, I feel like the team has failed him in that his O-line was not up to the task. This also helps explain the anemic running attack. The absence of Von was felt also. As a long suffering Bills fan I can only say (AGAIN) wait 'til next year.

I think the thing that stood out to me the most yesterday was the play of the Bengals' O-line. After all the talk about how banged up they were, they played a really decent game and the running game was working as well. Kudos to them and the coaches for that.

Also, not sure what is going on with the Buffalo D. Chase was so wide open on the first TD I couldn't believe it. The announcers seem to want to credit Burrow for looking off defenders with his eyes, but if so that's some serious Jedi magic to get your #1 receiver that open in the red zone at the beginning of a playoff game.

I think the Bills defense is fine, they just picked the wrong day to have a bad game. Sort of like Dak Prescott.
No disrespect to Cincinnati or San Francisco who both played quite well.
I didn't watch a lick of the AFC game, but despite the mistakes from Prescott, Dallas had a chance to win that game until the game clock hit 00:00 in the fourth quarter.

I watched the whole Bills game and I agree, no disrespect to Cincy, but they didn't have to do much or try very hard to win that game. The Bills played so terrible that Cincy basically just had to show up and not fumble.
It looked like a practice game for them.

I don't know. The Bengals looked like world-beaters from the kickoff on. Yes, Buffalo did virtually nothing; but I'm not sure it mattered. Cincinnati was firing on all cylinders yesterday. This could definitely be their year.
