I hear a lot of complaining about Collinsworth, but I've always found his knowledge of blocking and defensive schemes pretty insightful. Romo, not so much. I would have to hear how Brady functions in the booth to judge. Obviously he knows a lot. Just as obviously, if he's in the booth he's not on the field, so there's that, too.
The Bengals better kick Mixon to the curb. This follows his punching out of a woman in college.
Nah, the Bengals have shown time and again they don't care if their players are criminals.
I've never had a beef with Collinsworth, although there have been a few comments from him that I disagreed with. That's hardly a reason for me to think him a poor analyst.
Brady is a little like a duck, looking calm while paddling like hell under the surface. I think there may be a lot of depth in his comments because of his ability to see the field and understand formations and how plays develop. I think he could be a really good one, but I suspect it will take a year or more for him to hit his stride in the booth. I've been on the air enough to know it takes time to find a comfort level, and his job would be a lot more complex than anything I have done on-air.
Do we even know if Brady's going to be in the booth? Most former QBs, with the exception of Aikman, tend to be in the studio (across networks) as talking heads on NFL shows--Simms, Esiason, Bradshaw, Hasselbeck. Steve Young chimes in remotely on ESPN. There may be more I'm forgetting.
Yeah, those are really different skill sets. He might be good giving real-time analysis in the booth or be better as a pretty face superstar studio analyst. The latter seems like an easier job, but what do I know.

Between the dumb things the Browns do and the vile behavior from the Bengals, I kinda wonder what's going on in Ohio. I'll always root for the Browns, though. It's an ancient tribal loyalty that I'm afflicted with. It's like being a Cubs fan but without the goat and the charm.
With the Browns mega-contract with a certain QB, the Browns are giving the Bengals a run on vile behavior.

I have no idea. Once they got cheap and took it out of Hawaii, I'm not sure why any of the players show up. If they can't even bother to go there, I don't see any point.
