Cleveland lost that game, Pittsburgh didn't win. Hats off though to TJ Watt and Alex Highsmith. They played like they didn't want to lose.
In other news, Canada and Tomlin continue to prove they have no business coaching in the NFL.
The Steeler offense is worse than pathetic.
Tomlin with the second challenge? What is he thinking? Sheesh. Week after week playing not to lose and hoping the other team finds a way to lose the game for him.
Why in the thunder is Broderick Jones not playing?

I've said it before, but I'll still say it again. Tomlin surely must have the absolute worst record in the league when it comes to challenges. That 2nd one had to be one of the worst ever. The catch was CLEARLY clean with two feet in bounds.
As for Broderick Jones, I thought for sure they'd insert him at right tackle after Okurafor had those two quick false starts. Especially since they weren't sure he'd play, and had Jones working at right tackle all week in practice. But I will say that we didn't hear Miles Garrett's name being called much last night.
I want Joey Porter, Jr. to develop into a good corner, but he got away with one late in the game. But on the other hand, they could have called several false starts on that massive right tackle of the Browns. He got an early jump on at least three snaps, but only got called for one.
And Najee Harris... Defenses are like sharks drawn by chum every time they hand it off to him. He can't get anything going.

That was the first challenge Tomlin won in three years and then proceeds to royally blow it when everyone at home and in the stadium knew that was a catch. Well, everyone but Tomlin.
The level of idiocy is astounding, and even moreso that the Rooney's tolerate it.

Harris might sorta kinda be OK if he could have 5-7 yards of free space to run and get ready to make a play. As it stands now, he gets the ball with his head down and runs into the line of scrimmage. He'll dance a jig here and there or throw up some stiff arm to get on ESPN now and then.
Harris joins a long list of former Alabama RB's who looked spectacular in Saban's system and did so long enough to fool NFL scouts and coaches into drafting them in the first round where they signed a contract for a life changing amount of money. They get paid and then they're done. Mission accomplished.

That was a walk-back, though. Fields took it upon himself to say he was playing robotically and that that was holding him back. Then when asked what the cause was for his robotic play, he said it was coaching. So he did blame the coaches.
I think everyone's to blame for the terrible play of the team. But Fields really put his foot in his mouth.
Pack facing a Saints D that has not given up more than 20 points to either opponent thusfar. Another tough challenge for Love. But it's the home opener and everyone will be fired up. If Aaron Jones, Christian Watson and Bakhtiari play, my prediction might be different, but all 3 look destined to be inactive on gameday.

Thanks! I agree. His average yards per touch are far ahead of Kelce, even his best season. He makes contested catches. He’s hard to tackle.
And honestly Dallas or Philly would give us absolutely anything we want in trade. He’s great. Glad he’s on the team I love. But it’s just a waste of salary and a waste of his career. Nobody wins with KP on our roster. I’d rather trade him for a RT or Edge plus a first than target him twice a week. It’s been 30 games so anyone who says it takes time to fit him into the scheme is delusional.
I think we match up well at Detroit tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing Okudah play. And maybe CP84 sees some special teams action. Lions have good run defense though.
I don't watch football, but I decided a few years ago that I'm a Jacksonville Jaguars fan. Anyway, I do look at the scores and read up a bit, and it's nice to see them doing so well this year.
