Cardinals did better than expected. I thought for sure they'd lose by 28, but they buckled down and only lost by 27. Whew!

In a related note, former Cards QB Joshua Dobbs gets traded to the Vikings on Tuesday, subs into the game yesterday, and pulls off a strong performance in the win over the Falcons, in Atlanta. Guess he CAN play when he actually has NFL-caliber teammates around him.

Don’t worry. We’ll make your Cards look like the Eagles next Sunday.
My Falcs will make anyone look like TB12.

I've always pulled for Dobbs, no matter where he's been. He graduated with a 4.0 GPA in aerospace engineering (he's an honest to God rocket scientist) and a good person by all accounts.

Yep, I also liked what he brought to the table. Was hoping they'd have kept him and he would have given Kyler Murray a run for his money. Best of luck to him in with the Vikes.

Same here. The only Tennessee Volunteer I cheer for.
I'm guessing he left Pittsburgh because he wanted to play. Otherwise I have no clue why the Steelers front office would have chosen Mason Rudolph over him. Or even Kenny Pickett.

I think I have asked this before but all 4 teams from the same conference can’t make the playoffs?

They can.
If the NFL season ended today, all four teams from the AFC North would make the playoffs. Baltimore as the division champs, then Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh as wild card teams.
By the way, I'm with @Chris Fitzgerald on the Ravens. I think they may be the team to beat by the time those playoffs start. I don't want to say that and it bugs me to admit it, haha.
Lamar Jackson, who I have admired since his days at Louisville, is playing great.

The Ravens should still be the Browns. Ancient tribal loyalty says they should choke on a worn out workboot. That is all there is.

I am not a Ravens fan at all, and I dislike the whole scheme built around a running quarterback. And as last year showed, all it takes is one play, one run too many, for the franchise to go down and ruin the whole scheme.

But I have to admit that Jackson does it better than anyone. And that defense is playing lights out.

Also, the Jets looked…. Well, like the Jets last night: capable defense saddled with a completely inept offense. That was an absolute sack fest. Rodgers was never going to save the franchise with an O line like that. And now the rest of us are stuck watching Wilson or whatever tacking dummy replaces him when he gets hurt eat turf in prime time for the rest of this year. Ugh.

Thursday games have always been for those who'll watch NFL any time, any place no matter who's playing.

These games in Europe feel like that to me too. For us west coasters, those are 6:30 AM kickoffs.
A couple local bars are advertising how they'll be open with drink and breakfast specials while you enjoy the game. Yeah, you ain't gonna catch me watching a football game at 6:30 AM in a bar or anywhere.

The Colts/Pats game this morning was like the NFL's version of Iowa/Rutgers.

Joshua Dobbs is a cool story. And I don't want to take away from that. But he was 1-7 with the Cardinals. Kyler Murray is 25-31-1. Maybe quarterback isn't the issue in Arizona.
