NFL draft tonight, thoughts?

Tebows a really great guy but i dont see a NFL quarterback in him
I understand that line of thinking, and sometimes I agree with it. Other times, I'm more optimistic. He's never gonna be a Hall of Fame QB, but the guy has an unbelievable will and work ethic, and he is athletic--maybe he can adapt (especially his throwing motion) enough to succeed.

thats true, some people arent musically talented but still learn to play an instrument well enough. with determination and a good work ethic, which undoubtedly he has, anything is possible. and maybe im just discrediting him because...im an FSU fan F-L-O-R-I-D-A S-T-A-T-E FLORIDA STATE FLORIDA STATE FLORIDA STATE WOOO

haha so true, but still...look at all the new NOLA fans that popped up when they got good and all the gators fans that came when they started beating us. they had a good recruiting class this year, new coach so im hoping things will go better, still love em.
Ha! We've added some lately, but it's not as if the Gators just won their first title. We've had a really solid base for 20 years, since Spurrier took us to the top.

I think FSU will eventually benefit simply from having a new coach, as long as he's decent. Things had gotten so stale under Bowden.

especially after trading jason taylor, who going back to the jets team chemistry, will hurt it severely. so im glad for your sake that they did get them . on the gators thing the noles used to be most popular team in florida, after miami's years died down, then uf got it back in around 04 or somewhere. it trades hands a lot, very fickle state.

oh yeah! that was hilarious, so much hype, which i believe was ill placed on really no real proof. theres still a chance that my boy colt can go before him, which id love to rub in ANY ND fan. the most obnoxious ppl in the world, including boston fans.
I think McCoy should go before Clausen.

finnally someone agrees. everyone who i tell this think its blasphemous. hes the winningest QB in history, hes always the most prepared guy on the field, quick release, good vision, can get out of pocket if needed. i think the injury in the national championship and his poor performance against the huskers, mainly because of suh, really hurt his draft stock.

ahhhh yes, thats it. he really is amazing, as is all of the jets defense. his playing style reminds me of deion(sp?) sanders. always right on top of you gives no space, and he can look at you the whole way and not even see the ball and still make you miss or intercept, deflect etc. (had to slip in the fsu reference ;))

I was glad to see my beloved Packers go O line.

I think you did real well with that pick. I was listening to an interview with Bulaga on the NFL Channel (satellite radio) the other day. He sounds like a very intelligent and impressive young man. And as Chris Berman said, "This guy LOOKS like a Green Bay Packer!"

I think my Steelers got a pretty good O-lineman also. Maurkise Pouncey out of Florida. Rimington Award winner (for best Center in the country). Looks like the Steelers plan to start him out at Guard though. But Pouncey says he's cool with Guard or Center.

As a Florida fan, I agree! Pouncey originally played guard (as does his twin brother, who's sticking around at UF for one more year); I don't think he switched to center until this past season (and yet, he still won the award).
