At least I was .500 for this weeks predictions. I predicted both a Jag victory and a Bengal victory and neither happened.

Props to Tampa Bay, Jacksonville, Cincy, and New York for making it to the playoffs. Better luck next year.

My Superbowl 40 lineup still remains Indy vs. Washington.

I tell you what Kelly, Peyton was watching that game last night and he's worried - just like any team that has to face the Pats right now. Bill Bellichick's voice is already getting inside his head...."you can't beat the Pats...you choke every time...."

So, I can understand why you want someone else to try to beat them first.

I predict that the Pats beat Denver and the Colts will beat the Steelers. Indy will have to get by the Pats to get into the Superbowl. Belichick will get inside Peyton's head and mess with him and the Pats will win. Week 9 means absolutely NOTHING at this point.

I'm no Colts apologist, but I just don't agree with that one. I think Peyton is beyond that. He is too busy calling audibles and checking down on his WR's to worry about what Belichick has to say.

If the Steelers play as dirty as they did on Sunday they will beat the Colts.

That was the most shameful game I have seen played. Everytime a receiever caught a ball there were 5 guys stepping all over him as he tried to get up. The refs did a horrible job.

That guy rolled right up on Palmer. Cowher should be ashamed. Right now I hope the Steelers beat the Colts, because then the Pats will get to kick their ass again in the AFCC game.

having been born and raised in Chicago but now living on the east coast I am ECSTATIC about my Bears. For years I've taken verbal beatings about my team every time I wear my Bears cap during football season. But hey, true fans endure season after season of heartache (Am I Right Sox fans?--both red and white). Although I thought the wildcard games were predictable, I think the next round will have some surprises. Do I think the Bears are gonna make/win the superbowl....I'd love it but there's a few scary teams still out there -- Not including Carolina! Whoever wins, it's NFL and I live for it -- that and my bass!

Dude, that's just silly. Even several of the BENGALS players spoke publically about how they know Kimo and that he'd NEVER do anything like that. He was a Bengal for years before coming to Pittsburgh. The look on his face was obvious after Palmer was down. He was upset.

If anything, I thought Cincy's head coach's post-game remarks were pathetic. It was something along the lines of "we're not going to whine about it (the injury) like they (the Steelers) did (after a Cincinatti Bengal chop blocked him!)". There is a BIG difference between a blatant attack to the knees and Von Oelhoffen falling into Palmer's knee.

Kitna, for the most part, played well. I don't think Cincinatti would have been much better off with Palmer in there.

What we have here is a true blue Cincy fan looking for an excuse as to why his beloved Bengals lost again....at home....to the Steelers.

Kimo von Oelhoffen is not a dirty player, and never has been. He was knocked down by a Cincy blocker, the replay makes that obvious. Besides, his reaction when he realized what happened to Palmer makes it obvious that he did no intentional harm to Palmer.

I will kind of agree that the Steeler defenders were talking a little too much trash, but they didn't do anything dirty. Neither of those teams like each other, so there was a whole lot of hitting going on from both sides.

I'm a Bengals fan, & I dont think the play was dirty. What I DO find dirty is some of the attitudes of the Steelers players.
Some of the post game comments I saw were pretty damn classless.

Carson seems to have bad luck with injuries. I think its the same knee he hurt before. He also had to sit out a year at USC after he broke his collarbone.

Both you guys are Steelers fans, it is obvious, when everyone around the league is pissed about this, you guys are making excuses.

I could care less about Cinci. I do think Lewis is a good coach. I think Palmer is a top five QB in the NFL and for you to say that his backup did just as well, shows how ignorant or deluded you are.

Who else in the league is complaining about that play? Please share that. I'm immensely curious. It's strange that others in the league would complain when several of Bengals themselves spoke up on Von Oelhofen's behalf.

Just do us all a favor, and watch that play again. IF you can watch that play over and still claim it was malicious, then you should switch to a differrent sport to watch.

I will agree that Palmer is a very good QB, and agree that Lewis is a very good coach.

Just cause I like Pittsburgh doesn't mean I hate every other team in the NFL!
