If he hasn't signed his contract yet,it means that he's not covered by the Cardinals and/or player's union.If he gets hurt in camp,he'd be screwed as far as medical expenses go.
Player's agents make sure their covered that way before they'll let their clients even show up to camp.
The Cards better find a way to get a deal done if they already haven't,b/c Kurt Warner seems to have been fragile for the past 3 years.

I hope 9ers won’t be as bad as they were last season, don't expect them to be great again but hopefully back to being decent. :) We got few good rookies so it will take some time but we'll be back.

Hey,another North Carolinian,rooting for a bay area team.I'm from Hendersonville,N.C.,but have been a Raiders fan since I was six years old.

I think the Lions will surprise some people this year if Mike Martz can get the new offense's chemistry to click.
They've got the talent,and with Jon Kitna throwing the rock,they've got better stability at QB.
Ernie Simms is ganna be a badass for them if he can stay healthy.He's had too many concussions throughout his collegiate career.

It's definitely disappointing to see Roaf retire, especially at this point where there really isnt anything the chiefs can do about it. Still, Johnson is a beast, and im looking forward to seeing the defense.

So, go Chiefs and Bears :smug:

There's a NFL blog that's fairly hilarious... it dishes it out to everyone so if you're sensitive about your team, y'all probably shouldn't check it out. That said, they did a masterful job in their "Better Know a Team" feature on the Detroit Lions, you can find it here. Best line from the fictious question and answer period with o-guard Damien Woody:

"During the offseason, the Lions hired Mike Martz to be their offensive coordinator. How good are you at tackling?"

:D ;)

Don't worry, these guys are going to give it to the Pack this year... all in good fun.

This isn't a Walker, Sharper, McKenzie, etc... situation that you guys are used to in the GB offseasons. They are both in camp, and practicing. No hold outs here.

That's why Mike Sherman is gone (have fun with Uncle Mikey, Houston!). He was such a dope. I'm glad we can get back to what is important. Kicking the rest of the North division in the collective a$$...

I heard that there was some chatter about trading Jones for the Broncos reciever Lelie. Interesting... may be good for you, may be bad... he hasn't been able to shine playing opposite Rod Smith, a very good receiver who takes some double teams, but you never know what a change of scenery can do.

Either way, I look forward to our low scoring opening game where we beat you by a field goal... :D

Any guesses where you think Bennett will go? I'm figuring St Louis- he's got ties there with the head coach.

the packers finally signed AJ Hawk, and i am interested in seeing how he does...i was at the reggie white hall of fame induction dinner and i snuck a visit to the packer pro shop (stadium gift shop) and they already have AJ Hawk tshirts...i hope he lives up to the hype :)

LOL....my local WalMart...right here in the middle of OSU Country, had AJ Hawk #50 Packer Jerseys the week after the draft.

THAT, is going to be the 'Aint's problem. I don't look for them to win more than 5-6 games. Of course, my beloved Packers are in the same boat.

I'm not sure we could have asked for a better draft. If they can hold it together for another year (and manage to aquire an offensive line in that timeframe)....I think we may see the playoffs again. My hope is that enough promise will be shown with the new talent to entice a few good veterans to take a look in the offseason.

That is pretty funny,but just for the record,I'm not a Lions fan.I was just responding to someone's post who was.
