You see when I came to bay area and started to like the sport and I had 2 teams to choose from. I didn't want to look like someone who just likes a team because they are good (and 9ers were good back then) so I picked raiders even though I was leaning towards 9ers (I was young and dumb). Then I went to the game and realized that 90+% of raider fans are a**holes. I liked the team but I hate most of raider’s fans, so I went with 9ers as their fans are actually decent people. I liked both teams but most raider fans make it impossible to be a raider fan for a normal person. Not saying that Raiders don’t have normal fans, I know few of them but a lot are a**holes and I figure I want to go to the games with out feeling like one.

They're not being a$$holes per say.......we're just really proud,and brash,even when the team is sucking like now.
If you were to go to a game in Oakland,and hang out in the tailgating section of the parking lot while wearing Raiders gear,you'd get all the free food and beverage you could consume........I've did this myself last season.
We're see each other as family members,no matter what the gender,nationality,ethnicity,etc.

I was really looking forward to seeing LeCharles Bentley anchor the Browns O line, but of course he screws up his knee in training camp and now the bronws have no one.

On a side note, I caught the pats/falcons game and Laurence Maroney looked very impressive.

+1, he runs really hard, such quickness and explosion. The Pats line looked really good... in fact, both first team o-lines had real good push. Both d-lines looked sluggish... that seems to be pretty typical for preseason, though.

So, all you fantasy footballers that drafted Larry Johnson... are you feeling a little nervous? I watched the first half of the Giants-Chiefs game last night. Not only did the Giants look sharp on the offense, but the Chiefs o-line looked like a sieve. Kyle Turley was beat badly and thrown around like a ragdoll by Umenyiora... Man, I have no love for the Giants, but they made it look easy.

Did you enjoy watching the Vikings' lose? I find that to be one of the finer things in life myself... :D

Wouldn't ya know it......My Raiders are one of the worst NFL teams in history,and I can't find a local supermarket that still uses those brown paper bags.
If they keep losing like they are,I'll go back and get a plastic one..........to put myself out of my misery.:bawl: :help:

I don't think there is..........ya know,since "Da Bearz" are ganna represent the NFC in the Superbowl,they'll have either the 31st,or 32nd pick in the 2007 draft.
What better way to get good value for it,than by trading it to the Raiders for Randy Moss..........imagine how the Vikings fans would react to that? :D

I could care less what the Bears do, except to lose to my Packers... I may live in Chicago, but that's because my job is here. I was raised in northern Wisconsin so the Green and Gold runs deep in me. So yeah, we should have a pretty high draft position again this year... good luck with Brady Quinn next year.

OOOPS!!!!.......I got caught judging the book by it's cover....Sorry about that.
Al Davis doesn't have the common sense to draft a QB in the first round anymore.He hasn't done it since 1991.Quinn won't be a Raider.
Andrew Walter,who we drafted in the 3rd round two years ago,out of Arizona State is considered to be the QB of the future.
Until we get that turns-tile of an offensive line fixed,it won't matter who our QB is,so I'd like to finally see us trade down in order to get more players......we have too many needs not to.
For whatever reason,Al Davis can't get it through his thick skull that he needs to rebuild...he actually thinks that "reloading" mindset still works.
How is Charles Woodson doing in G.B.?
