Pack back at it against the Lions who will be looking to do something they haven't done in 2 years....beat the Pack.

But this game is in their park and the Packers put their 7th starter on IR this week, right tackle Bryan Bulaga. Matthews will likely not go, and Stafford will probably have time to get it to Johnson.

Being a realist, I'm predicting Detroit by 7 in a somewhat high scoring game.

A season shaping up eerily similar to the superbowl run season a couple years ago.

Yep. It's gonna' be ugly in Pittsburgh on Sunday. Watching Leftwich wind up to throw a pass looks like it's in slow motion. I can see Suggs drooling already. Such a shame. Ben was having a good year.

Plus, I don't know how badly Ryan Clark was hurt.

I do not understand why Leftwich gets the nod over Charlie Batch. I personally think Batch is much more capable. He's not as mobile as Leftwich, but he's a better QB, I think.

I'm with you. I felt so bad for Batch having to stand there and watch Leftwich play. Maybe Batch is hurt? If not, Tomlin is just making another bad decision.

The Ravens cut Dennis Dixon last week, maybe they can resign him. He did start one NFL game, against the Ravens. Remember that one? Decent game until he threw that INT in OT that cost the Steelers the game.

It was so embarassing to listen to Gruden and Tirico raving about how awesome the Steelers defense was as Charles and Hillis ran all over them play after play. At one point I asked out loud to my wife....are these guys watching the same game as we are? :)

Here in Patriotland all the talk is how Tom Brady is going to school Andrew Luck. I don't know what games the local media has been watching, but from what I've been seeing it's awfully hard to school anyone when you've got the NFL's worst pass defense. Pats will probably win, but it'll be another cardiac nail-biter of the kind we see way too much of around here.

Patriots 24
Colts 21

Impressive win by the Pats today, I hate to say it but I have to. Meanwhie, my Fins have gone from wildly outperforming expectations to stinking again. *sigh*

But Pats fans--booing Vinatieri seven years after he left, really? Just because he had the temerity to leave on his own rather than waiting to get unceremoniously kicked to the curb by Belichick like so many other former Pats?

Pack played poorly, but I will take a win over the dirty Lions any time. McCarthy is 12-1 against the Kitties and 6-1 against that dirty b----rd Schwartz.

What was so dirty about the Lions today, besides their lack of offensive execution? Fairley could have crushed Rogers on that one sack and let him down easy, I haven't seen too many line man on any team do that in this league.
