I think it's time for the Bengals to cut bait with Uncle Marv he looks to be a nice guy but it's time l know they've been snake bit a few times over the years but if that organization is serious about getting a ring then he's not the answer. I also think more bait cutting is needed in Chicago l like John Fox but that city deserves better l know he's crippled with Cutler but they need to go in a different direction.

Sadly, Marvin isn't going anywhere. Owner Mike Brown likes him, and that's all that counts. Listening to the local post-game show just now, the excuses ranged from injuries, to bad/missed calls by the refs, and all the usual Bengalness. One host even said (paraphrasing for brevity), most kickers won't make all 3 50+ yard kicks, so if you take say 2 of those kicks away, and add the missed Nugent PAT, it's a tie game; goes to OT, and the Bengals win. That kind of thinking should require a 72 hour psych hold.

All through those bad seasons of the '90s-2000s, at the end of every season the Bungles would win the last couple of games and Mike Brown would say "See, we're on the right track now. Let's stay the course". As Marvin and the gang lost the last 5 playoff games in the first round, that thinking continued. It ain't changin' this year either.*




*And the Brownies will finally get their first win of the year in that last game against the Bungles.

Still listening to the post game show, and all but one caller have asked when Marvin is going. Show host Tim McGee (former Bengal WR) said that Marvin meets with Mike Brown every Monday to watch the game. Does ANY other Head Coach do that with their owner?

While I admit the play of late has been totally sad panda at best, this is a team that you simply can NOT count out. Your defense(s) of late have been lackluster at best and that hasn't stopped you. Just sayin'

Unbelievable and l guess it's not a problem as long as the shared revenue money keeps rolling in.

Titans bye week coming up. Finally cut ties with Cox. That was 1 year over due. I think it's a safe bet the Titans go a DB in the first. I'd be cool with 2 defensive picks, personally. It looks like the Rams are doing their part to help the Titans secure a top 15 pick.
