That was the most disgusting piece of asscrap 4th quarter I've ever seen. Tom Coughlin should really be fired.

I'd would have loved to be watching the game that Matthias Kiwanuka was watching. How do you not take Vince Young down there??? That was the ballgame.

Eli Manning really, really stinks. I'm about to give up on this guy. Peyton must have gotten the "good batch" from Archie.

Everyone on the Giants is going to get killed by the NY media this week. Its deserved.

I can only imagine what Parcells is going to do to us next week. The Giants are a team on life support and Ol' Billy-boy should exploit that.

I truly hate fans who try to blame a loss on a single person not even on the damn field. Coughlin isn't the reason the defense sucked, but I guess he'll work great as a fall guy. Larry Coker did a great job under crazy expectations with a team a full of thugs for 5 years and gets canned because the nation finally realizes how thuggish they are. I hope he gets hired by a team that can appreciate him.

Kiwhenwhatever wraps up that tackle like he has been taught for his entire career and the game is over, but don't forget the 5 other Giants staring dumbfounded at Young running right by them. Even that diminished D could figure that out.

That team sucks because they have gone from playing a team game (oh, about week 1) to 22 individuals playing however they feel (week 2 to present). Tiki Barber bitches about not enough touches, ditto for Shockey; yet both consistently wet the bed after good long whine sessions. Tumor and Burress are human ball-tipping machines; for every great catch they make they have to tip like 2-3 balls right near as many defensemen as they can. Eli is still going through growing pains. Remember not even Peyton was "great" when he entered the league (sure a butt-load of TDs balances with about 230 INTs.

In short, that whole team could screwup a wet dream.

It's just seems funny up in NY that there have two players criticise Coughlin's coaching and now he is ripping on Manning. :rolleyes: I personally think the Giants are a good team but something is wrong up there in the locker room. I think it's time for Coughlin to go.

Abark, I guess we just see things a little different. :)

On a side note... Colts 45, Eagles 21 :hyper:

Addai really looked good out there tonight. Marvin really looked out of it for some reason. :confused: Now if we can just get the D healthy we will have a shot in the playoffs.

When did I ever blame Coughlin for the loss???????????

I blamed Eli and Kiwanuka, but never said that Coughlin blew the game.

Coaching is a very imperfect science that makes it tough to measure an impact on a team. The bottom line is that these guys aren't performing under Coughlin. His "message" is lost on this team.

Im not going to crucify the guy for one really bad loss. His tenure has revolved around questionable calls and disgruntled players. Sure, you might say that the Giants players might be difficult or prima-donnas. Tiki Barber is the furthest thing from a prima-donna. Tiki was damn right when he said that he needed to touch the ball more than ten times in a game. The Giants offense revolves around the running game!!

Most importantly, what kind of coach lets things get to the point where your players are venting to the media like that?? Their public venting is a direct reflection on the morale of the locker room.

You want an easy example of delusional coach: You might have seen the Giants try to kick a 52 yard field goal into the wind last week in a 9 point game. Result? The kick was 10 yards short, leading to 300 pound lineman trying to run down a defensive back. That didn't work out too well for the Giants.

Sure you say that 5 guys watched as Vince Young ran for that first down, but did you watch the game? The defense was on the field for almost the ENTIRE FOURTH QUARTER!! They were exhausted.

Coughlin is not putting them in the best position to win. Even if he would be perceived to be the "fall guy", thats comes with the territory. This team should be performing much better than it is right now.



I think I have a solution for the Giants problems: Trade Eli for Philip Rivers and Shawne Merriman. Think the Chargers would bite??:D

As much as I didn't like the elder Irsay, don't blame him. Baltimore didn't really want the Colts back then and the history that went with them.

If you want to keep a team you have to keep them competitive in the market. It is a business after all. The stadium they had was run down and compared to teams like the 49'ers and the Cowboys, the Colts were the bottom feeders (financially) of the league.

Indy was wanting a pro team and was willing to give the Colts what they wanted, needed, and deserved. Baltimore can hate us for as long as they want. We love the Colts and we are not giving them back! :p

True, they did leave at night. However, the negotiations with Baltimore had stalled out long before this took place and Irsay had talked about moving the team. They just didn't think he would actually do it. They should have known better as he was an onry old cuss.

On the name, cities didn't get to keep the team names back then. Here are some others:
Rams (LA & Cleveland)
Cardinals (in Chicago long before the Bears, St. Louis)
Raiders (L.A.)
Redskins (Boston)

Whoa, the Cardinals came After the Bears.
Remember? The Bears were the Staleys then they moved to Chicago. I don't recall what year the Card came but I'm sure it was after the Bears.

Agreed, the Bears strength is their defense, their weakness is their offense; the Saints strength is their offense, their weakness is their defense.

Strength against strength.

It would be a better game than some would expect.

...and it MAY be the NFC Championship game...

I think we can officially say that Vince Young is awesome... sure, he's got a ways to go... sure, the Giants did as much to shoot themselves in the foot in their loss... but he looked so poised, threw a couple of rockets, ran real well, and led his team to a hell of a comeback.

At teh beginning of the season, my friends and I were talking about teams that may be surprises this year. I picked the Titans because I thought that Billy Volek would step up to the plate (man, that didn't happen at all) and they've been building up young talent and getting some good FA pickups... obviously, their season got sidetracked early but they've been looking much improved over the past few weeks... I'm sure it's still a year or two away.

Hey Gard, congrats to the Saints, that was a real convincing win that a lot of people thought would go the Falcons way. My close friend (one of the guys I used to watch the games with back in Chicago) is a Saints fan, and he kept texting me yesterday all excited. Did you see that photo of Vick flipping off the fans?

Anyone else think that the MVP award is between Brees and Tomlinson?

My other close friend is a Bills fan so it was nice to see them pull it out against the Jags... what a confusing team, both of them actually.

Looks the Redskins are ready to play the spoiler this year. I didn't watch too much of the game, but it seems like they cna win ugly and make the other team look ugly, too.

Da Bears look like they have a couple of things to fix if they want to go all the way this year. That D never stops, but it can only do so much against a top flight QB.

Those are my thoughts after this Sunday. Let's take it to the 'Hawks tonight. Go Pack Go!
