NFL Week 15

Week 15 is now officially done with a very convincing Colts win over the Bengals, 34-16. 
The D actually looked like the D from last year. Not great but much improved. The offense was just killing tonight as they lit up the Bengals a lot. Peyton was 29-for-36. Not big plays but 6 to 20 yarders. Marvin had a great game with 3 TD's. The single biggest impact IMO was the game Freeney had 3 sacks and 3 forced fumbles! It was really cool to see him have a good game.
If they can play like this throughout the playoffs, there is hope. We'll see.

Methinks that the beat writers who poo-poo-ed the Colts in recent weeks will be back on the ol' bandwagon.
Many teams would love to have only lost three games at this point, yet the Colts do it and everyone considers them a sinking ship. Of those three losses; one was fairly close, one came on a 60 yard prayer, and one was a complete beatdown.
Colts get a complete beatdown from a good (at times great) division rival = sinking ship.
Patriots get a complete beatdown from a poor (at times good) division rival = nobody cares.
I'm sensing a disconnect there.
That said, big win tonight. The defense was good enough to get the big stops and the offense was near perfect in my opinion barring one bad pass from Manning and a miscommunication on the part of Ricky Proehl. I do hope Joe Addai didn't get hurt badly.

Come on now. The Colts started out 9-0, and then dropped three of four. Don't be too harsh on the people who thought they were a sinking ship. It was starting to look that way.
As for me, I am very thankful you guys beat up on the Bengals like that!!!

The only "BIG IF" is the meeting of the two teams. IF the Saints play Chicago in the playoffs, and the Saints offense is "on", it will be lights out for the Bears.
Now if for some reason their offense ain't clicking, well then the bears have a chance.
I'd really like to see either the Saints or the Bears play San Diego in the SB. The Saints (when their offense is really on) would make for a great offensive shootout, and the Bears (if their defense is intact and "on") would really show what the Chargers are made of.
Then again, Chicago didn't exactly do much defensively against the offensive juggernaut...the Bucs.
And don't give me that "injury" excuse either. Last year the Packers practically had their offense completely gutted and all I heard was how you can't use that as an excuse.

But I honestly believe N.O. will win it's games.
Although they lost at home to the Mighty Skins, so how does that make the Bears scared of them?
And don't give me that "injury" excuse either. Last year the Packers practically had their offense completely gutted and all I heard was how you can't use that as an excuse.
Yeah okay I'm not worried about injuries, what i said was when we get Vasher and Todd Johnson back we'll be much better in secondary, even if only 1 of them comes back.
Also Ian Scott was the starting Nose tackle before Tank, but he got hurt and lost his job. He more than capable of handling that spot.
The Bears have enough men to plug up the line, so I'm not worried and neither is Coach Smith.
