NFL Week #19 the Playoffs - Divisional Round

Against that Patriots defense, he sure could have. You weren't relieved when Denver won?

-Mike

Nope, I actually got more nervous. Big Ben needs to sit, because he can't hobble to victory. At that point, Denver and Tebow were far more effective.

Are you new here??? Hahaha. Gard *always* takes a well-timed leave of absence following a beating of his beloved Saints. If the Saints won however, he woulda been here talking smack before Brees showered the filth off his taint!

:smug:

Very true dis! Us old timers have seen it quite a few times.

At least you gotta admit Wisconsin won the crown!

I know thats right!!! :hyper: I obvioulsy was watching the game but happend to turn it on when her and the other woman were standing on stage holding hands waiting for the emcee to call the winner. I was surprised Wisconsin was up there its useally a southern state like Texas or California. I whooped when she was picked. Good looking woman. ;) The first thing I thought when Packers lost was, well atleast they got Miss America.

Two points to depress me on Monday morning (not to mention my work doesn't take this holiday):

1. Giants beat Pack. If Saints would have won, NFC Championship in Superdome.

2. I was 3-1 with my picks. Of coirse, the one game I was wrong about was my Saints.

It will be a long day at work.

I'm going to be in a funk until I'd say at least tomorrow. Still can't believe they played so badly. Rodgers was quoted as saying it will be a completely new team next year. Not sure what he means by that. Maybe Clifton, Woodson retire. Couple new guys on the D-line. Our D got exposed this year like a cheap Polaroid.

First, for everyone that wants to talk $hit about my "disappearance", piss off. I was out of town, and busy, I've got a life OUTSIDE of this stupid discussion.

Second, kudos to the 9er's, the Saints crapped the bed in the first quarter, they took advantage of it, and deserved the win, even though they ALMOST didn't get it. That said, the ONLY reason it ended as it did was the 5 turnovers. (Gregg Williams needs to be tarred & feathered, drawn & quartered, then have his head on a pike in front of the Saints practice facility for his piss-poor defensive calls on the last two drives, making Alex "I can't hit the broadside of a barn with a target painted on it" Smith look like the second coming of Joe Montana... :spit: )

And for you Pattycake - hey, my team spotted the #2 seed a 17 point lead in their own stadium, turned the ball over 5 times, and was still in the game right up until the final 13 seconds. Your team crapped the bed all the way in front of their home crowd against the #4 seed. If anyone gets to talk crap here, it's ME, not you. That is EMBARASSING. The Packers didn't "give" ANYTHING away - the Giants flat BEAT 'em. In their own home.

Go Giants (I expect they won't give any gifts to the 9ers next week, and there will be a great big grease spot on the field at Candlestick where the 9ers used to be).

You can still get tickets? or do you pay scalper prices.

It's hard, but if you look few times a day you will find something at decent price. for Saints game, i lucked out because my friend (season ticket holder) had 2 extra. He doesn't for this game, but if i look hard enough on craigslist, you will always find someone who can't go.

On Thursday, i bought a parking pass from a guy who also had 2 tickets on sale because he couldn't go. Also talked to a guy selling his tickets because his prego wife was due on that day. So if i get lucky, i'll find something at decent price.

Funny, according to people 9ers have not won a single game this season and apparently this postseason as well, its just other teams "crapped the bed." Like that last Davis touchdown was not thrown by Alex, Saint's D did it.

Well, you forget, they saints never get beaten by other teams, nor do they get outplayed. The only time they wind up with a notch in their L column is when they feel like spotting teams too many points, because they're such nice guys and all.

Gregg Williams has previously been touted around here as a mastermind, a genius, a wizard, a man who can construct defenses that can not be stopped. Look how fast fans turn on him. Wow.

It's just football, so let it go guys. The teams you love don't care about you the same way. The losing players are cashing their paychecks today and heading off to exotic vacation spots or home to be with their families. Game over, move on. They have.
