NFL Week #19 the Playoffs - Divisional Round

Congrats to the Giants who really never let the Pack in the game. Too many mistakes was obvious. Looked very uninspired, ill-prepared and rusty. Nothing good about being a #1 seed. That's only 3 #1 seeds in 11 years making it all the way. Eli played like he did in 2008. This years Giants team reminds me of their '08 team and also reminds me of last year's Pack.

Oh well. Life goes on. Next week's games should be good ones.

Congrats Giants. You were better today.

Pack played soft and unemotional all game. Perhaps the tragic death earlier this week of the offensive coordinators son left them drained. Too many drops and fumbles. The Giants on the other hand played great. Congrats to the NY Giants, good game.

Every time the camera panned close to Rodgers he seemed half a world away, like he barely noticed there was a game happening.

I would not like being an NFL coach and having to do a press conference moments after getting rolled up on your home field in the playoffs.

Good point MPG. The Saints rolled to a SB win in 09 as a #1, but other than that, not a good thing anymore. Packers won as a #6 just like the Steelers did.

The Patriots lucked out when Baltimore won today, as they'd have a hard time slowing down the Houston RB's and Andre Johnson. Then again, if Flacco and Ray Rice get rolling, it will be tough for New England to win. They also lucked out when Denver beat Pittsburgh, and you know it.

BS - a one-legged Ben Rothlesburger couldn't have won against NE. He barely hung on against Denver.

Unlike some here (cough cough.....Gard...cough), I will come back here and take my lumps. I can't really complain. The Giants really outplayed the Packers in every department. You just CAN'T drop 9 passes and lose 3 fumbles against a good team, and expect to win. Congrats to the Giants. The NFC Championship game should be a really good one.

Now that you mention it, this thread *is* suffering from a marked absence of Gard, isn't it?

Yep, I'll give you credit Cheese. I'm still here while my Lions are gone. Of course Gard may have an excuse, he may be waiting to post bail.......:D

A Georgia man allegedly shot at two football fans in a restaurant parking lot — critically injuring one — because he took offense to their cheering for the San Francisco 49ers as they faced off against the New Orleans Saints.

Are you new here??? Hahaha. Gard *always* takes a well-timed leave of absence following a beating of his beloved Saints. If the Saints won however, he woulda been here talking smack before Brees showered the filth off his taint!
