NFL week 5

I enjoyed watching Keyshawn get into yet another shouting match with someone on his own sideline.

I DID NOT however enjoy watching Vinny punk the Bucs. When all you get is field goals, you lose.

The ego-that-is-gruden said he wanted to improve the kicking game this year. Guess he got what he wanted: 4 fg's.

I think Greaseball is the biggest worry on this team. Guy looks scared, either of taking a hit, or having another "talk" w/ chucky. If it weren't for Joe Galloway, we'd have really been sunk today; he's really surprised me this year, stayed healthy, caught some tough throws. Just need someone with an ounce of gumption to throw it to him.

And Ronde! What the hell was that?! I'm sure he'd never, ever intentionally hit a ref, and i have to believe that his reputation as an upstanding person kept him from his suspension, but damn! Just point out that Mawae's got his facemask to the ref who was RIGHT THERE, and make them take the penalty.

Oh well, maybe greasy will get drunk and fall down in his driveway again. Then we can start simms. :rollno:

man, I hate the knees down fumble rule.

technically that means he didn't have total control of the ball when he was going down if it is dropped right after his knees touch.

and the 2 feet in with total control... anyone watching the bengals game and saw that challenge knows what I mean. He had control when his second foot hit the ground but not the first. I am cheering for CIN and think that was bull

That looked painful. Knees just don't bend that way. I'm not a Steeler fan, but I root for Ben since he's a local boy....

I see unfortunate things like that happen and it makes me wonder how an elder statesman like Favre can hold such an ironman record and keep going week in an week out. In today's game, I find it even more amazing.
