Oakland at NY Giants - Yes, it does have the makings of a trap game, and the Giants could come out flat. But even a flat Giants team will be the Raiders who can't seem to be able to run the ball anymore, and if they can't do that, well ...
Minnesota at St. Louis - Minnesota. Is St. Louis on the right track? What do they need? It seems that a QB would be helpful. I'm not sure what happened to Bulger, but, um ... Then that defense. What don't they need?
Cleveland at Buffalo - Buffalo's kind of a mess. Is Lynch playing in this game? I'm not sure. Jackson proved he should still get some carries. The offensive line in Buffalo still seems unable to do much. What will that mean against Cleveland? Well, even with Cleveland having a new (old) skipper at the helm, it's not like their offense is oh-so-impressive. They did do more than Quinn could though, and that was against a tough Bengals D. The problem though, is that the last time Anderson shined was with a really productive Braylong Edwards and Kellen Winslow. They're both gone. I'm going to give this game to the home team, Buffalo, but it could go either way.
Dallas at Kansas City - Opponents' records for Dallas: 0-7 for teams they've beaten, 8-0 for teams they lost to. This will be a telling game. Can Dallas keep their streak of beating winless teams alive!? I believe that they can. Take the leash off of Romo and let's pump some life into this team. Dallas gets a much-needed win.
Tampa Bay at Philadelphia - Tampa Bay is not very good. Philadelphia is better. That's my analysis folks.
Pittsburgh at Detroit - Detroit is not very good. Pittsburgh is better.
Cincinnati at Baltimore - Cincinnati is not ... wait, maybe I should come up with something else. Well, Palmer is playing a little better and the Bengals D ain't so bad. Baltimore, on the other hand, is a very good team, and this is a home division game that Baltimore should win.
Washington at Carolina - Washington, also, is not very good. They don't even look like they're going to get that much better. They were a little too excited about an ugly win at TB last week. Carolina will win, but they do need to get back to their running game which looked so good last year.
Atlanta at San Francisco -Here's a good game, eh? Everybody's preseason darling, Glen Coffee, wasn't as effective in his first game as everybody hoped. Give credit to St. Louis for studying enough film to have a strong idea concerning the 9ers game plan, of course, that wasn't enough to help them. SF's D will make it tough against Atlanta, another upstart team. I really don't know what to think in this game. I think Michael Turner will be the difference and Atlanta will get the win.
New England at Denver - NE will be determined to force Denver into some mistakes, I think. If Denver makes early mistakes, they may not have the firepower to recover. Their defense needs to create turnovers and give good field position to Denver. Denver's secondary is better than the Ravens' (yeah, I said it). If Denver stays aggressive with the pass rush, I think that they'll win.
Jacksonville at Seattle - Doesn't it seem like forever ago that Elizabeth Hassleback's brother-in-law played football? On top of that, Jacksonville is playing well. Tough commute, sure, but it's not like they're taking the bus.
Houston at Arizona - This is an intriguing matchup. Arizona at home, would like to get their defense playing a little better. And this is a good test for them. Houston's offense is good, with the potential for being great, but hasn't been as good as it can be lately. That being said, can Houston produce on the road? I think Arizona, which needs to stay competitive in their division, (although who doesn't), will win.
Indianapolis at Tennessee - Seriousy, I think we take how good Indianapolis is for granted. Are there even any Indy fans on this board?
NY Jets at Miami - Henne wasn't the worst thing in the world. The Jets, however, is a much better defense than Buffalo's, and they'll be hell-bent on taking out some frustrations on Miami.
