NHL 2013 post season thread!

WINGS !!!

Nice OT win, the kids are slowly growing up. They still need a scorer or two and they badly miss Dekeyser. But for a team that lost Lidstrom, Rafalski, Stuart, and Huddler, along with the most games lost to injury of any team in the NHL this season, they're doing OK.

The Boston team from game 1 and the Toronto team from game 2 showed up for game 3 and it was a good one. B's are skating and Tuuka came up big again. This game was closer than the score seems to indicate. Toronto did not quit when down 4-1 (on a shorty - thank you Dan Paille and Phil Kessel :) )- the Leafs scored an early power play goal in the 3rd to cut it to 4-2 and just peppered Rask with shots until the horn sounded. It really wasn't over until the empty netter.

Horton's goal was my favorite - roofed it so the puck stuck between the camera and the net. Jagr was more involved and picked up an assist.

The Leafs made a lot of mistakes and the B's are finishing unlike the regular season which saw a lot of good chances go off the high glass or buried in the goalie's belly. As much as I would prefer the Leafs to mail it in - that is not going to happen. If the Leafs keep the intensity and reduce the mistakes, Game 4 in Toronto will be even more exciting than the first 3.

Leaf fan gets sucker-punched by a Bruins fan after the Leafs won game 2. Victim was unconscious and needed 3 staples in his head.

I'm not surprised. I vividly remember a video posted on YouTube where a Habs fan wearing a jersey was waiting for the subway surrounded by a sea of Bruins faithful who were taunting him, egging each other on to increase the hostilities, etc... Honestly one of the most frightening videos I ever saw. I thought for sure he was going to get killed. He wisely left and all that eventually happened was that he was being mocked and laughed at while leaving.

EDIT : Managed to find the video I was referring to. I forgot a detail ; the guy is clearly a very young kid who wouldn't be able to hurt a fly if he tried.

I don't see that video anywhere close to how you describe it.

Clearly, you've never been bullied. I have and recognize ALL the signs of this guy who was about to get his ass handed to him. Textbook case of bullying mixed with mob mentality. Things were not going to end well for him had he stayed.

wow...I'm pretty sure he left because he was done urinating.

If you come to the garden wearing a habs shirt you're going to get heckled, especially in the bathroom. Hell, wearing a b's shirt you get heckled if you take too long. However, I do enjoy your interpretation hilarious.

Glad that was entertaining to you. I wasn't aware this was a bathroom. Looked like a subway platform to me. That wiping comment by somebody close to the camera mic makes more sense, now. lol! Oh well...

Nevertheless, tempers were boiling. If that type of situation is normal for you or even acceptable, I'm glad I'm away from an environment like that.

yea, if that video tweaks you, then please don't go to the garden wearing any rivals' clothing.

Not sure why that entire period is being treated as one entire incident. That Bourque elbow is the epitome of an act that deserves suspension.

You guys see this move by Sedin?

Sure looks like the embellishment Bieksa is whining about to me. :rollno:

Of course he seems to have gotten amnesia regarding the low-budget vasectomy he performed on Marty Havlat in game one. :p

The only way this series gets any better for the Sharks at this point is if somehow they get to dump a load of confetti on the Canucks before the series winning goal is officially acknowledged on the ice.

and playoff hockey it the best game, sexypants. :ninja:
Man, it sure is gettin' hawt in here! ;)

Whats up with this random leaves fan and his "Toronto Stronger" sign? if he wanted to piss people off he sure did a good job at it...classy
Yeah, saw that.

As I said before, it's only a game. Pulling stunts like that doesn't do anything positive for anybody. That guy should get a clue.
