His rant came during the Flyers/Devils 1st intermission.

That Kovalev play has to be the worst way to lose a double overtime game in the history of the NHL... brutal.

My Sens evened it up last night, only reason they haven't swept the series is Ed Belfour being insanely good. The most entertaining series of the playoffs thus far IMO, with Calgary - Vancouver being a close second.

The playoffs coupled with the Masters last weekend meant I've watched more televised sports in the last week than... well, last years playoffs I guess.

Mind you, Toronto's going to have to play better than they did in Game 4... by far!

Anthropod? Good grief, I hope not. Francis all the way!

I haven't heard anything - naturally, they're keeping the injuries pretty quiet around now. All I know is that Sundin walked to the team bus on his own, and that Nieuwendyk is day-to-day with back spasms. OTOH, they went out and got Francis and Kilger in case injuries like this happened.

And see, it has come to pass that the Hurricanes and the Mighty Ducks have already been the improbable chosen ones, though their quests were thwarted.

Shall there be a band of pretenders to the throne this season? If so, who? Nashville?

Ouch! B's lost 5-1. Oh well. They still control Montral's fate tomorrow night.

On a side note, I was actually at last night's game. I noticed that EVERY time a Montreal player was knocked down and/or fell, they would stay on the ice and look to see if a ref noticed. L-A-M-E!!!

Go Canucks! They were playing really well in the first half of the game and then just fell apart... Auld kept them alive on many an occasion. As long as they play the way they did last night when they got to 4-0, it shouldn't be a problem.

Meanwhile the Canadians, my other favorite team, is going to game 7 as well. I can't see Boston winning this one. They must be pretty demoralised.

That was a great game, although I like the Flames in game 7. I think Donovan and Iginla will pull them through.
