NHL Playoffs!

some good games this weekend

couple very exciting 2 OT games..

devils made short work of the rangers, continuing their unbeaten streak and showing they are one of the best teams in hockey.

esche played a great game, despite their loss, and umberger's unfortunate lesson that you ALWAYS have to look where you're going

Bob: The friend you speak of (Portage and Main, 50 below) is one of my inspirations for helping me lose my excess weight (70ish lbs with 30 to go)! I'm so glad he got healthy, and he sure helped me get on track. If you could, please pass that along!

I guess you know his song Prairie Town, then? ;)

I will pass that along to him! I'll probably be e-mailing him this week. I was really surprised the first time I saw him after he slimmed way down. I'm very glad for his improved health prospects, too.

Exactly, a win is a win. The Habs are playing well, but they'll have to keep it up. Carolina is VERY strong.

I'm somehow winning our tiny eBay TB league. I picked two Flyers players, and they're just useless right now. Buffalo is simply laying waste to them. Same with Jersey just flat-out beating up on the Rangers.

Avs dominated the first period 3 - 0
Stars dominated the 2nd with 4 goals making it 3 - 4
3rd period was a scoreless bruiser until the last moments making it 4 - 4
Avs won in the first few minutes of OT

And after the first period the Avs looked like all they could do was keep up. The stars are a very physical team. They made it difficult for the avs to control the puck. But the Avs have a way of coming back even though they didn't look like they earned it. Next two games in Denver. Wooohoo!

Happened in the Habs game too. Except replace Avs with Habs and Stars with Canes.
