Q. What's the difference between the New York Rangers and the New York City streets?

A. The New York City streets don't get swept.

Buahahahaha, I've been waiting 12 years for this series.

GO DEVILS!!!

:D :D :D

I'm sharing that one with my Whaler fan Yahoo group right now …

Hey, Canadian brethren (and sistren, as the case may be), I read that the CBC recently showed a miniseries about the 1972 Summit Series between Canada and the USSR. Man, I wish I could've seen that! Does the Ceeb usually release such programs later on DVD?

That was an awesome mini-series! And yes, they usually release these to DVD. I'll keep you posted on any info that comes my way.

Off-topic of your off-topic, is "The Rocket" playing anywhere close by? A "must-see" for any hockey fan.

Thanks! I'm curious, who played Paul Henderson?

I WISH "The Rocket" was playing around here. That may be one I'll have to get on DVD, too. I tend to accumulate DVDs in certain genres. In hockey so far I have Ultimate Gretzky, Slap Shot, Mystery Alaska, Miracle, and Hockey Mom (the star of which is quite, quite hot), along with a bunch of Hartford Whaler DVDs created by a Whaler fan on eBay. And I'm always browsing around for more.

His name's David Miller, but the standout of the movie was the guy that played Esposito (David Bernie)!

"They're goddamned BOOING US!"

A historic rant that was expertly re-created.

I've really got to get a hold of some Winnipeg Jets DVD's that are floating around. I dig the nostalgia. Of course The Rocket will be on DVD, and I'll be all over that one. I've got the 2002 Gold Medal games, 2004 World Cup, The Heritage Classic, Ultimate Gretzky (though I want the NEW release with 4 complete games!), and Slap Shot. I see that Hockey Mom's alternate title is Chicks With Sticks  .........she'd better be REALLY hot.:p ;)
