NHL Regular Season 2017-18

The Pens played good hockey for about 30 minutes, at which point I think they must have concluded the game was as good as over and mailed it in.
The Lehtonen save on Malkin was the play of the game: Lehtonen's larcenous glove save
Dallas isn't great, but they've been on a winning streak, and earned the victory tonight.
Pens head off to play another team on a winning streak, St. Louis.

He's literally the worst player on the Sens. And then he does this after a clean hard hit from Hall, arguably the best player on the Devils. This is why you need at least one guy on your team who's ready to chuck some knuckles.

Burrows suspended 10 games

I took a look at what happened. Forget what I said earlier about him being Marchand without the skills.

Marchand is a weasel, but he'd never do something like that.

I know you're almost all a bunch of Flyers-haters on here, but there was an interesting game last night in Phoenix. Tied at the end of regulation. Nobody scored in O/T. goes to a shootout.

Flyers goalie, Brian Elliot, looked shaky the entire game. Gave up a goal on the very first shot in the shootout. Then after making a save on the 2nd Phoenix shot, he went down in a heap and had to be helped off the ice.

Enter Michael Neuvirth, stone cold. No chance to warm up. He keeps the Flyers in it making about 4 nice saves in a row. Shootout went 6 rounds, with rookie Nolan Patrick winning it for the Flyers. So Neuvirth gets the win, despite not playing at all during regulation. :D

I don't hate the Flyers. I do dislike them though.
That is crazy about how that game turned out though. Too bad the Coyotes had to lose.

400 for Crosby!
Murray and Allen are putting on a show this afternoon. The Blues defense is playing well.

Murray turned in a most excellent performance this afternoon to hold off the Blues. I didn't think he'd have it in him to do so the way St. Louis kept coming after him. Especially in the third when they poured it on.
I watched this game, and thought it was one of the better performances end to end this season from the Pens. I keep wanting to believe, but games like the one in Dallas leaves me doubting.
Regardless if the season ends in a SC or not, it's been an interesting season. I really like the addition of Reaves and Oleksiak, still love Hagelin and Hornqvist.

Leafs with a big win against a spiraling Sens team. Poor Duchene, went from the basement to the crawl space as far as teams go, lol
Marner with a 5 point night, it was a beauty!

The Leafs are now 3 points behind the Bruins for 3rd in the Atlantic, who have 4 games in hand (what have they been doing since October?), But 18 points ahead of the nearest Atlantic wild card contender, who aren't contendenders anyway. So the Atlantic teams are all but mathematically locked into 3 playoff spots, with the Metro teams dunking it out for the remaining wildcard spots. #feelsgoodman

As I've indicated in previous posts, I'm a Blue Jackets fan. The stupid Pens haven't the sense to know they're supposed to lose to the Jackets in the playoffs.

Blue Jackets? Oh, I'm talking about the NHL.
I was just poking fun at your boys. I don't think they're having the season many thought they would. I figured this would be the year they overtake the Pens. They've been getting closer each season.
