And can you quit referring to Winnipeg as a 'little city'? Winnipeg official population is 705,000. More than twice the size of Pittsburgh (310,000), St. Louis (320,000) and Tampa (335,000), to name a few.

Yeah but Winnipeg has no metro area to draw on. Every city you listed does. I’ve driven semi through all of them. Millions to draw on within a small radius. Nothing but skeeters n wheat outside Winnipeg city limits.Dead? Naw, merely recharging for next year.

Yeah, bit hard for some of our American friends to comprehend that there are not miles of suburbs surrounding all our cities. Miles of muskeg and mosquito's, sure.

Yeah, as a geography major I was well aware of the endless suburbs our cities have, and that other than Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver, most Canadian metropolitan areas do not have. I was just giving you a hard time after busting my chops about my Penguins being dead. Good response, and you backed it up with facts!

Great effort by the Bolts last night. Hope they can keep the foot on the gas the rest of this series.

I find it refreshing that home-ice advantage apparently means nothing in the Eastern Conference Finals. Hoping that changes for game 5.
