Forgive me for quoting myself, but this just dawned one me...
Been caught up in the Fleury hype, but with former Pens 2-time Cup-winners Bonino and Kunitz also still playing, there's a decent chance one of those three can do it.
Not gonna make me feel any better about my Pens being outed, but if one of these guys win the Cup it will at least mean the Capitals didn't!
Jets are dominating. The only reason the Preds are still even remotely in this is because their sweaters are distracting Hellebuyck.
48 years ago today, Bobby Orr won the SC for the Bruins with his goal while soaring through the air which is a highlight staple for great plays in the history of the NHL.

After Nashville's dominant performance in game 6 in Winnipeg, I was expecting more of the same at home in game 7. Add in the Pred's playoff experience, and I was anticipating a blowout.
Well, we got somewhat of a blowout, just not the way I figured it would be!
Props to Coach Maurice and his staff for making the necessary adjustments, and the players for answering the bell. Game on in Manitoba! Ought to be a great series against VGK.

Preds looked like they thought all they had to do was show up. Well, they didn't!

Plus Stamkos played JR. in Sarnia Ontario, where I live, got to see him play as a kid.

Yup. Even though he played for the hated Bruins, he was the best of all time.
