Wow, that had to have been brutal to watch if you're a Caps fan.
Final: Hawks 8, Caps 5.

Coincidentally, the Hawks lost to the NYI 8-5, last Monday.

Leafs/'Yotes game was pretty good tonight. I don't have a horse in that race so I just enjoy the game. I much prefer close games to slaughters.
Whoa! Islanders are in FIRST place in the Metro Division! When did this happen? Last time I looked they were a distant fourth?
With the Caps and Pens both sputtering lately, and Columbus just won't go away, the Isles stealthily slid up the ladder by playing some good, sound hockey. Props to Coach Trotz.

With the Pens in the midst of their mid-season break, time to take in some WHL hockey.
Big game for the Thunderbirds tonight as they beat Spokane 2-1. This was the first victory over Spokane this season. Prior to tonight, they were 0-5 against them.
During the second intermission they do the 'chuck a puck' contest. You can buy rubber hockey pucks, and you chuck them at the car. First one to get a puck to land in the car through the open sunroof gets a sweet prize, then the second and third person do as well. Just not as cool as the first person. If your puck lands in one of those buckets, you get cool prizes too.
What kind of cool contests do they have at arenas where you attend games?

I caught the end of the first game(Toronto/Washington). You musta had a lotta friends at the game, they kept hollering for you.
