Pens beat the Flyers in OT. @MJ5150 is happy tonight. And you can thank Jarry for the win. He made several awesome saves late in the 3rd to prevent a probable win in regulation by the Flyers.

Yay! I got that yucky 'lost to the Flyers' taste out of my mouth, and for it to be Crosby with the game winner made it even sweeter.
Jarry is making it hard for Sullivan to put Murray on the ice. Hopefully Rutherford notices.

Wicked good Bruins win in Winnipeg last night. Not only did they get the two points; the game had 74 PIM between the two teams.

Just caught the last 10 minutes of the Caps/Pens game yesterday. I can't help but shake my head at Carl Hagelin actually playing with some sort of physicality. While wearing a Pens uni, he wouldn't hit a fly, would never go into the corners, never dig for the puck, and certainly would never engage an opponent. But much like Matt Niskanen, once they go to Washington all of a sudden they start playing with an edge and actually act like they've got a pair. Who knew? 
The "Cats" were off for 11 days-and looked it in Montreal. Thankfully, back in form tonight. (Sorry @GoLeafsGo).
I'll say one thing about the Leafs, they can choke with the best of them. Shows just how much they lean on Freddie, once he went down, the whole game turned around.
Saw an interesting stat this morning, Pittsburgh goalie Matt Murray is 6-0-0 since Dec. 28 with a 2.63 goals-against average and .922 save mark. That seems to correspond to the latest Penguins hot streak....
Interesting stat. Made me look up Jarry.
In January, Murray was 4-0-0, 2.20 GAA. Jarry was 4-3-1, 2.84 GAA. Funny thing is as a fan, I find myself slightly more at ease with Jarry in net despite the stats heavily leaning toward Murray. I guess a couple of years of Murray's inconsistency makes me a little gun-shy about having full faith in him. Perhaps not having the pressure of being the #1 starter has been beneficial.
I know one team that would like to have a "backup" goalie half as good as Murray....

He's fooled NHL minds way smarter than ours (supposedly at least).
